Benzos Phenazepam and social anxiety

Sounds helpful.
Of course I haven't mentioned any other drugs I take/abuse but at the mo this is the one I'm most scared of getting in too deep as using 6ml every other day will at some point lead to real problems.
Hopefully being in PG in a dark cupboard means it will last a good long time.
The bonus is that I personally have never got euphoria from benzos. My problem drugs are alcohol and GBL.....and so would various opiates be if I had access to a lot more than I do....I'd be on very dodgy ground if a Kazakhstan Opioid turned up and for 6 months it was grey area-loop hole like phenaz.

I found it took about 10 minutes to notice starting effects with sublingual dosing.

i never had any evidence of degradtion in propylene glycol. (no loss of potency, change of color/smell/taste but never tested more solidly)

I'm guessing it show on a wide urianaylsis. I arranged for a blood sample test with GC/MS and it diddnt come back as a benzo, because there was no standard/known comparison for its metabolites to compare against, thus was just ünknown"'But it could be tracked down with some further investigation I'm sure.

I would start at .5mg and then adjust up or down for your one reaction/tolerence/severity of symptoms.

The MAO inhibitor Nardil (phenelzine), 1 mg/kg in divided doses is the "gold standard" treatment for social phobia. Augmentation agents for social phobia include d-amphetamine (0.7mg/kg/day) for assertiveness, 0.25-2mg/day clonazepam for anxiety if needed. Tranylcypromine (0.7-1.5mg/kg) may be better if you find d-amphetamine helps you a lot. Tolerance to MAOI or psychostimulant medications can be attenuated by memantine.

MAOIs are extraordinarily underrated.

I think that's not going to be too bad for me IMO.

I usually take 0.5mg of alprazolam, so I was planning on taking 0.5mg or less of phenazepam for the first time.

How does phenazepam compare to other benzos in terms of potency? How many mg's of lorazepam or alprazolam would equal 0.5mg phenazepam?

From what ive read the standard dosing is .5- 2 mgs which is the same as both benzos (ativan and xanax) you posted. so you would just take what you normally would take. just remember it can have a long comeup ( upto 4hrs) and lasts days so thats the difference.

^ ativan and xanax aren't equal in strength.. .5mg xanax (alprazolam) = 1mg ativan (lorazepam)

phenazepam is more equal in strength to xanax/klonopin (alprazolam/clonazepam) in that .5mg = .5mg phenazepam.
.5mg phenazepam would = 1mg ativan (lorazepam)

This is IMO/IME and what i have read on benzo equiv. charts, everyone might be different though.

I've been taking phenazepam for the past few months.. dont ask about my dosages cuz they're just crazy.. BUT back when I first started with this drug 1-2mg was perfect.. not too impairing but it felt nice. And CH is right when he said some people say the 2nd day is better because I'm the one who told him that. Dose on the 1st day 1.5mg and wait a couple hours for the effects.. then when you go to bed and wake up the next day you feel even better than the 1st day you took the drug. and by "better" I mean better anxiety relief and better overall feeling of "well being".

Yeahhh i noticed that when i took it as well. Only tried it once though..

I HATE using benzos for social anxiety. I had pretty bad social anxiety up until freshman year and it sucked, but I self-medicated with Xanax before going to school one day (yes I was one of the kids who ALWAYS did drugs at school) and I was even more "in my shell". So I didn't start using Xanax again until I stopped being socially anxious. I preferred amphetamines and opiates for social anxiety.

if you are worried about overly sedating effects, start very low. benzos don't have to be in sedating doses to provide effective anxiety relief and control. a very small dose(one that you'll barely notice) can keep anxiety at bay quite well, and if it has a long half life(this is observed with clonazepam, diazepam, and flurazepam with me) it still can keep you calm even though you feel as the main effects have worn off.

however i'm not a fan of phenazepam. but being a benzo it will kill anxiety like other better benzos.

^ yes, i find amphetamine the best for social anxiety. although i take it with a low dose of clonazepam(long duration, not too "hypnotic", powerful anxiety killer) to "smooth" it out and prevent any comedown effects(just in case, i usually wouldn't use a lot of amphetamine).

however i prefer benzos to opiates for social anxiety, i tend to keep to myself on opiates.

I thought taking phenazepam would be great for social anxiety. And IME it was, at least while it lasted. I mean it's cheap enough to be able to dose low and have it work. But IME the effects are kinda subtle so over time I kept dosing higher and higher. Eventually I became a benzo zombie.

In the long run it did nothing for my social anxiety. It basically cost me a couple hundred bucks to be in a benzo stupor for 6-12 months. During that time I have a few black out periods where I was acting like a complete dick to family and friends. And it left me depressed and just as anxious (if not more) when I finally stopped.

If you're going to do it anyway, dissolve the phenaz in high proof alcohol (like at least 151 proof or everclear 190ish proof) then lay the solution on blotter. If you lay 1 gram on 900 hits you get something like 1.2 or 1mg per hit (leaving room for drugs that are lost in the process.) That way at least you'll know what your taking...until you dose too frequently and forget you dosed and re-dose....and then call ex-gfs and talk nonsense/almost crash your car/blackout.

It's really a bad idea. Phenazepam works great IME but it's really a waste cuz eventually you're going to have to stop. And I'm thinking the DEA is eventually going to start cracking down too. So save yourself the suffering.

EDIT: lol. If you need any proof that it fucks with your memory, I don't even remember posting in this thread several months ago. I don't wanna scare anyone off. If you lay it on blotter it's fairly safe to dose. The main problem is that when you buy it you usually end up with a gram which is equivalent to hundred pills of your benzo of choice. And any one who's into benzos is most likely going to have a problem cuz I mean think about it, can you use responsibly with nearly a 1000 doses sitting in front of you?
