Phenazepam (1.5mg) - first time- Feels good man

So I made a compuded liquid of phenazepam, 1mg/ml in ethanol and measured dosages out with a 1cc rig. (which was just for measured...we drank it, not shot it, dont worry)


we me adnm my girlfriend each take 1.5 mg down the hatch.

I'll be honesy. I dont have much memeory, due to the amnesia.

About 15minutes after dosing, we both begin feeling giddy and relaxed, typical benzo feeling.

AT this point, we drink a cup of decently strong poppy tea (wwe both are fimilar with its effects and feelings) and take that with Hydroxyzine to potentiate/keep itchies at bay.

The benzo feeling keeps comeing strong, and we ned up laying down and putting a DVD of house on...this is about 7:30.

next thingk we know, its like about 1:30. We more or less left reality for that time and spent in our own little world of snuggling and sleeping.

I woke up the next morning still feeling fairly benzo's out.

No real side effects to speak of, aside from the typical benzo type things.

all in all, its a nice but very POTENT benzoo. Only flunitrazepam has given me similar levels of sedation and euphoria.

This is my first time with the substance, and I'mm still benzo'd out on it from last night. But I want ot post prelimiary thoughs on it.

Use this drug with caution and respect boys and girls. just cause it aint schedualed and you got for cheap from china, doenst mean its weak...but use it right, and you'll get lots of a) anxiety relife, or b) a damn good buzz.

updating with a .5mg dose.

feels okay...sedation, reduction of anxieties, a general "dont give a fuck" attitude...but I am finding it very hypnotic and hard to stay focused or awake.

more hypnotic then xanax or klonopin for sure. but it could work a "utility" benzo, but would be best as an insomnia benzo or a recreational benzo as its also fairly euphoric.
 
cool! well I'll look into this then! I've need for a benzo or two once in awhile (it is almost always for the case of needing to get to sleep. Although the halflife issue worries me. You say it lasts quite some time?

I'm very sensitive to benzos (.5mg of xanax will knock me out basically).
 
Phenazepam is not a very useful benzo, IME. Its good as a curiousity, but not much more. At any dose, it is a coombination of long and debilitating that makes it of little practicality.

I would compare it mostly to lorazepam, but add that it is as amnesic as midazolam.

ps. thanks for the report rngrz, but in all fairness this report is about phenazepam + opium :). The latter is far too powerful to dismiss (and it also does synergize with the benzo, changing its effects on a pharmacological level).

well, the time until I dosed the opium is just phenazepam, as ios my second, brief report on .5mg

but yes, you are correct, the two do have lots of synergy.

and you are also correct, its halflife is retardedly long.

But I personally find it pretty euphoric. Very relaxing and a good way to pass a day.
 
And you can't forget the halflife of the chemical itself may be nothing compared to the half lives of it's active metabolites.
 
hmm...well, assuming you have it properly prepared for IV use in a safe manner. (which I'm not sure on how to do...I'm no pharmacist...just an amateur chemist) I would guess the same as oral dosages...bioavilablity is alraedy 90% orally, so the dosage via IV should be the same(or subtract 10% if you wnt. :P), with merly a faster onset of effects.

so I'd say between .5 and 2mg depending on tolerence.
 
How would you IV this safely? It's not soluble in water...
Yeah a 2mg dose would be safe, by itself. Mixing other stuff with it... nooo. This is a dangerous benzo.

I am assuming propylene gylcol, the same way midazolam and diazapam are made for IV use in hospitals.

or as a suspension/emulsion like propofol.

none the less, I dont recomend trying to make your IV solution for a non water soluble drug. and say with 90% oral BA...just eat it.
 
We (I, anyway) have no solubility info for Phenazepam. Assuming it is, and assuming you have pharmaceutical-grade propylene glycol, it is still tricky to make a shot and you'll probably need a different gauge (read: more damaging) needle because PG is more viscous than water.

Besides, Phenazepam is slow-acting and will not give a rush of any kind.
 
where the hell do u people live? Russia? cuz i dont see how any of u are even getting this stuff living in the USA?
 
New info: I can now tell you that phenazepam dissolves 2mg/mL in 2-propanol (isopropyl alcohol) after you shake it up for a bit.
This is not as ideal as absolute ethanol, as it will be metabolised to acetone in the body, but it's not super toxic or anything either, and is probably a LOT easier to get in pure form for most people than absolute ethanol. Used lab grade 2-propanol (Sigma), but I imagine OTC isoprop will work okay too for those who can't get lab grade - just let a puddle of it evaporate on a glass tray first to see whether it leaves any nasty residues.
EDIT: OH YEAH just realised that due to the context of this comment, I should clarify: ^^^ the above is NOT for parenteral administration (IV, IM, SC, etc) of any kind. ORAL only.

It probably is, yeah, being more lipid-soluble. But seeing as the above solution can be put into a glass of milk or whatever else takes your fancy, it's not an issue.
