I have a perfectly legal script grim a real dr. Who not only a real dr. But has pain management licence as well. I have had several sugerys. The pharmist refused to fill it. Is that legal. She made me feel like a cruminal or simething. Who do they think they r. They r playing doctor. What if simeone was dying of cancer and given 3 months to live. And they deny. The law or simebody. Doctors or simething needs to step in on this

What's the script for? When was the last time you filled a script of opiates? Was it 30 days ago for the same med?

Sorry to hear that man.
But like TLB asked, if you don't mind.. what was it for and was it too early to refill?
Even if you got say 30days worth last time and it is only 15 days in, a refill will be a no go.. but if you have a new script, regardless of when you last filled whatever medicine they should honor the script. But they do have the right to refuse service and have you go somewhere else if they suspect foul play with RXs despite the Dr. writing it.
For all they know, he could be a pill mill Dr. if it seems like that to them (like with a new script for the same medicine that you aren't out of yet without new dosing instructions).
Just go to a different pharmacy or have the Dr. call the one you are trying to get it filled at while you are there with the script.
My .02 (don't hold me to everything i said, it's all based on my past experiences.. now i go to my local hospital pharmacy that my Drs are affiliated with and problem solved they know me by face and name there and if used to help a lot while getting RX'd shit loads of different benzos while trying to find the right one for me but than again they aren't C-II drugs, they're C-IV)

Do you live in the U.S? Instead of a big chain like Walgreens, CVS or Rite Aid, try a privately-owned "mom and pop" pharmacy. HOOD makes some good points. Once my friend had her prescription refused because the pharmacy said "We don't accept prescriptions from this doctor." Insinuating that he was a pill mill doctor but he wasn't! Some pharmacists are assholes. Wish you luck.

Unfortunately its up to the pharmacists discretion and you've really only1 of 2 choices, if your script is not too early to refill.
1) go to a different pharmacy.
2) Give pharmacist permission to ring your prescribing doctor to confirm and validate it.
Ive had problems recently with one of these glorified bean counters. I've been going to.this one and only pharmacy for years now. Now, I'm on 2, sometimes 3 different painkillers (high dosage) and diazepam and despite being 30 I look quite younger where i still get carded while fresh shaven. So of course bean counter lady is all up in my grill like "y da fuq u on all this shit? U no olda den 21". So im all "not that its any your busines but, because yada yada". Next time bitch loses my script on file insisting i took it to another pharmacy which was utter shit. It was found in my file a month lster. In between finding my script she unlawfully contacted my dr telling fairy tales that im trying to fill out my narcotics early. Which is impossible as theyre authority scripts with no repeats. My only.script i receive repeats with is a beta blocker. Of course by now I've made a few complaints. And I'm not the only one according to 2 diff managers. So now she stsrts essentially snubbing me while waiting to be served. Happens 5 times before I put in another complaint.
To my elation, over the last 6 wks I never see her in there so I can only hope to assume she got shit canned or transfered to the other chain store.
I guess what im saying is know your rights and dont let some bean counter dictate to you what you can have when, when youve got legit scripts.

Take the script to a different place
Even though some of the bigger chains have nationwide policies that make filling scripts a living hell (Walgreens being the worst from what I've seen and heard), a lot of neighborhood pharmacies are just as bad if not even worst.
I think the reason being, the larger chains can take a hit, a bruise to their public eye isn't really anything in the grand scheme of things, not even mentioning the deep pockets of these corporate companies.
The small town pharmacies, sometimes, feel the need to go the extra step not only to protect their rep but to validate their ego.
jus wanna say that I too get a script for "narcotics", a popular pill... Anyway, I found that first getting the script, I had to go to several pharmacys. I found that once I found a place that accepted my scrip, I stayed there... They got to know me, so there was no problem when I went there to get it filled. All the othe places would tell me "not in stock"
Ill also say it helps In a BIG WAY that u look ur absolute best! ( I'm a girl n I always have make up on and dressed very nice even tho I'm only going to a freaking pharmacy). I found by doing that, I was able to secure 3 pharmacys in my area that "know" me.
And anytime u call, I know they aren't suppose to say over the phone, but the key is to give them ur name first, tell them that it is a narc and that way they look u up and see that u have been there a lot and usually they will tell u if they r in stock. I have 3 pharms that I use bc sometimes my 1st choice runs out

This has definitely paid off for me as well when making that oh so critical first impressipn when starting to get my meds from a new pharmacy. Now I'm dead sexy as it is so I'm used to wimmin fawning over me bit, throw on some slacks, a nice shirt and sports jacket and they're all inquisitive of my injuries. The juices start flowing and they can't help me any sooner there on out. WINNING.
Then for kicks. Once in a while I'll go in in my shittiest 'gym clothes', stinkin like absolute scrote mange, B.O and the 1000 yard stare just for the reactive response when I'm at my most comfortable. In n out in a fucking flash! Trust!

Bobjane made a very good point. You should complain to whoever is banding managing the stores pharmacy staff as she is not song her job properly and taking all the steps necissary to be profiling you in whatever what they did to not allow you your script. Than again if there's another pharmacy down the block that will do it without the hassle why bother right?
Also definitely looking a bit more clean and formal vs. Informal helps at first... It's not like you would introduce yourself to your doctor in your pajamas if your not trying to make a fool out of yourself.
