pharmacutical (sp) scripts...

I was just wondering what the pharmists do with the scripts after filling the order
more specifically, would doctors know what scripts go unfilled by the patient?
I was prescribed zoloft and klonopin. don't need either, but don't want to pay $7 for zoloft that i won't use.
I was just wondering if it worked like a financial institution. you know, you get your checks back at the end of the month. do the doctors get the scripts back after they get filled?
 
I don't quite understand what you are saying. Are you saying that you got prescribed zoloft and you don't want it? Well then just don't get it filled. They can't make you take anything you don't want to. I used to get all these different prescriptions for this problem I had with my eye. After so many different doctors, many who tried the same medicines i knew didn't work, half the time i wouldn't even get them filled...it doesn't matter.
And to your question about it going back to them, I doubt it, but I can't say for sure, someone will know though.

No, no-one will know if you just throw it out. The only way I can think of that they would, is if the following unlikely situation occured:
You doctors prescribes you a bunch of demerol or oxy or meth or something, which the pharmacy has to call in and verify. Your doctor's office doesn't get the call, and someone for some reason realizes it and wonders what happened to the script and asks you.
However, if you're talking about a script that doesn't need to be called in, that unlikely scenario can't even happen.
If I were you, I'd spend the $7 on the zoloft and use it for a post-load for e, or for having sex for a really long time. Hell, even sell it if someone you know is interested. But if you really don't want it, then throw the script out.
 
no, I got the klonopin filled. that's the whole point. however doctors rarely give out just a benzo for anxiety unless they choose to for acute anxiety. they usually couple it with something like paxil or neurontin or, in my case, zoloft.
so to make things easier, I'm going to lie about the zoloft (the fact that I'm taking it) and continue to be scripted both this and the lovely k-pins.
I've assumed that zoloft is basically recreationally useless, but maybe I should do a bit more research...eh...
 
just get the script filled and put it into your apocalyse kit, You can never have too many prescription drugs. its only $7 and who knows maybe someday you'll find someone that really want or needs them!

doesn't zoloft depress sex drive and make it more difficult to achieve/maintain erection?
not that that would help you have sex (obviously) but maybe it's what they were thinking of...
 
I used to take Zoloft. During your teenage years you tend to cum a lot quicker as oppsosed to when you get older. When I used to take it I could always get it up and make it stay up. But the wonder of SSRIs is they allow you to go a lot longer without ejaculation.
 
^^^ I agree. I was prescribed Paxil and it definitely prolonged my ejaculation. It's really annoying when you want to cum and cant though. When i was on Paxil i could fuck for days and not even come close to orgasm.
 
What happens to the Prescription after its filled? Well in the state of NJ Pharmacies have to keep records of all the prescriptions they have filled for the past 3 years (I believe). So every night when the store closes up we have to file every prescription, that was filled during the day, in a metal binder/box. The binder then gets moved down to the basement where it is stored for a few years.
The Doctor really has no way of knowing whether you get your prescription filled or not.
