Pharmacuetical grade Ketamine. *snip* What form is it usually in? How do you know it's not cut/a research chem and if so is there a way to wash it? Thanks!

It comes in vials, you buy it from someone who sells ketamine and it is in the form of ketamine.HCl in solution.

If the vial is sealed it is unlikely to be anything else.

The powder is just the vials cooked up (provided they aren't cut which is fairly uncommon in the UK - although since the drought it's been more common), so really a vial containing pharmaceutical grade ketamine that is cooked up leaves a powder which is pharmaceutical grade ketamine.

Dose/Feeling on the nose is a good way to tell if it's been cut, as well as appearance. But this only really comes with experience. Anytime I've had cut ketamine though it's been very noticeable.

Not all K comes from cooked up vials (the vials obviously being pharmaceutical grade), I get mine as 80% which is not completely pure, yet it is apparently obtained from somewhere alongway the production chain. So it was once intended to become pharmaceutical ketamine, but before it became a finished product it seems to have been diverted.

This all speculation and hearsay though.

vials are the only way to go. that way you know its pure. Plus K is meant to be injected to really enjoy the full benefits of the substance

I've long held the opinion that the crystal K that ends up on the street is mostly just leftover junk from the lab. My thinking goes something like this:

Asian lab has two semi-professional contracts, client A specifically want high-grade S-ketamine, client B wants high-grade racemic. After sorting out both clients to their requirements the lab is left with a load of "junk" K that they have no semi-pro buyers for, one batch that is pretty much mostly R type and another that is low-grade impure racemic. They sell the racemic to some asian wholesaler for a reasonable price and then sell the R-mix to another wholesaler cheap. Most of the K that ends up in the hands of western blackmarket suppliers is from these wholesalers, some suppliers will enevitably be happy to buy the cheap shit probably oblivious to whether its R-ket or any other kinda cheap K, other suppliers may buy the impure racemic for a higher price. Either way, the stuff that ends up on the streets is likely to be from these "junk" batches.

People often assume that if their K is shit or not strong that means its cut (and indeed it may be although this practise seems less common than other drugs like coke), but actually chances are its just a load of impure R-ket. As it is we then end up having to take our chances or just not bother at all (kinda my stance nowadays).

Additionally, just cos its in a vial don't mean a great deal. Dodgy asian suppliers have learnt that they can get more money by diluting their crystals in water, sticking it in a vial and putting a proffesional looking sticker on it. Really, you can only be sure vial K is proper if its come from somewhere propa (friends with a vet, someone in hospital that can sneak a few out etc) otherwise it could just as easily be any old shit just like crystals.

Of course, I'm hypothesising much of this, but when you think about the economics of the asian pharmaceutical industry and you look at the widely varying price asian wholesalers will quote you it all makes sense, to me at least.
