Pet Peeves ver. Fjones vs Redleader

Seriously... I had a $950 check one time, needed money badly but lo and behold, it was made out to MICHEAL ****, not Michael. It took me 4 fucking months to cash that check.

Seriously? That is a major hassle. I am lucky I guess, I have never had ap roblem cashing checks made out to the wrong name. Though, my name is probably misspelled on more forms than it is properly spelled, so usually no one notices that it isn't spelled right and therefore there is no chance of a hassle.

^ why are people so dumb? Can't they ask you to write your name out on a piece of paper? That way, there will never be an error.

well, if people weren't so dumb, we wouldn't be so special, now would we?

back to pet peeves -- Why do people stop at yellow lights!? GO!!! It's still yellow! You're more likely to get rear ended than you are to get a ticket for just missing the light.

It's the fear that the car waiting to turn left, across your lane of traffic at the intersection, will go ahead and do it (to beat his analogous yellow light) thinking you are going to stop, and then you WILL crash (and not a rear-ending). At least this is what I notice when I decide whether to go or stop...

If the assumption that all cars will NOT stop for yellow were common, "left-turner" would know not to turn. But it's not. It's a gray area. SOME PEOPLE REALLY WANT TO TURN LEFT ON THAT POINT IN THE TRAFFIC SEQUENCE!

fair enough, but there is often no car coming at all, in the straight or turn lane. Some people just don't know what a yellow light means.

Pants with a button where a zipper should be. What the FUCK? I have one pair only like this. I grabbed them today and put them on. I remember buying it not realizing it had this, and then not feeling like bothering to return it for a properly made kind.

Are these some kind of a joke? Who would ever want this? Why would you ever want an unnecessary delay when you want or need to whip it out for some reason? Why were they ever made?

Also, do people not know the driving rules? A car turning left needs to yield to an oncoming car, regardless of the traffic lights, UNLESS the left turning car has an arrow, in which case the other guy will obviously have a red, and this doesn't apply. But if both have a green, the turning car still has to yield even if both go on yellow/red.

My dad wears these. Jeans didn't always customarily come with zippers. He got use to the old school buttoned flies growing up. Otherwise, I have no clue.

I was actually in a serious car accident when my friend's sister was driving us home from a sporting event. We were in the middle of an intersection waiting to make a left turn. Anyway, the light turns yellow and a car is flying through the intersection with no intention of slowing down. Sure enough, my friend's sister decided to turn left anyway (like a stupid bitch) and we end up getting t boned. Unlucky for me, I was sitting in the back on the right side of the car so I got fucked up the most. Had to go to the hospital and get tests and what not. Turned out the insurance bill for the ambulance ride was like 2 dimes! (for a 5 minute ride) how sick is that!?:|

oh yeah, this was about 6 years ago when I couldn't drive :(

When my bf takes 20 FUCKING seconds to answer me when I ask a question!!!! Drives me nuts! Seriously, he isn't doing anything at all sometimes. Is it that FUCKING hard?! Any advice on if I should say something without looking like a nagging bitch? Or should I just let it go?

Just anything, yeah stupid shit when I'm high but a norma example that he actually never bothered to answer, "Have you seen that movie before?"

Ya, it's annoying 99% of the time. But I was once accidently "zipped" by a woman during foreplay, and therefore I can see why buttons could preclude something truly horrific from happening.

If I were getting it on and I had to wait for her to undo FIVE buttons, I would be really annoyed. Though, I only button one of them, so I guess that would never be an issue.

LOLO my boyfriend owns jeans with FIVE buttons instead of a zip, and it drives me up the wall! I cannot understand why Levi made the jeans with buttons!!!! It is so fucking annoying to watch him put them on, and take them off. Lol

So there you go Fjones. :D
