Jabberwocky
Frumious Bandersnatch
I've developed a taste for cacti hunting. I have a pretty good little collection going of many different species, although the San Pedro are my pride and joy as I've gotten some to even begun flowering! Anyways, I'm keen on adding some trichocereus peruvianus, more common known as the Peruvian Torch. I'm seen pictures, such as on erowid's Psychoactive Cacti vault, but cannot seem to find any in the local nurseries and hardware store type places. I'm not too keen on ordering one on the net. There a huge variety of cacti in my area however.
How does one go about identifying a T. peruvianus/Peruvian Torch? For example, as compared to T. pachanoi/San Pedro?
Obviously I realize that the spine on the former are much larger and more prominent, but I want to know what else can I use to identify them. I'm worried about mistaking a Peruvian Torch for something else, so I'd also like to know what other types there are that are easily confused.
Much thanks!!!
