Hahaha i second that. I have scheduled to have a few hours sleep before Sun Electric Starts....never happens though.
Also got a question regarding Zombie Nation. A Mate tells me that they are the one's that do the "zombie nation" track and that its actually called Kermkraft400. I always thought that Kermkraft 400 where the Artist and Zombie Nation was the Track Title. Can anyone confirm what my mate is telling me?
^^yeah thats exactly what most people think. But yur friends wrong. The dude is called Zombie Nation and plays different stuff. Kernkraft400 have that 'zombie nation' track that swept the dance charts back in the days. Ahh the memories...but yeah expect something different from Zombie Nation.

Hmm not one of the most enjoyable events i've been too. No outdoor arena, water bottles without caps, and having to lineup to get into the DnB room was crap. and the lineup times were changed yet again. Organisation on the promoters part was extremely poor.
As for the music and DJ's stayed in the DnB room most of the night coz i couldnt be fukt lining up for 30 mins to get back in. Dj Hype was scratchin like a madman. those needles would've needed replacing after Hype finished his set. Dj Format was pretty crap, putting a hip hop DJ on in the DnB room in the middle of the night just didnt go well. The room was empty at this stage and the huge line of people had gone. But once Format finished there was a line again as Fresh step up. Felt like i was isolated and couldnt move around Belmont to see the other acts.
Good seeing a few BL'ers out and about. Chilling outside was probably the most enjoyable part of the night. Hope everyone had a grand spanking New Years. its 2006! shit seems like yesterday i went to my first rave back in 2002. Gettin a tad old for these things me thinks. Altho TWO TRIBES is looking mighty tempting, and never dissapoints.

I was pretty damn impressed actually with this one! Probs was a bit lucky in a few respects but, I brought my own bottle in with cap and DnB isn't my favourite genre, was very happy to listen to hype for a while early in the night and continue with other music, but as you say Astro that line was fkd for all the DnB fans!
10-Sui was fantastic, played an awesome unprecedented 3 hour set after general midi apparently missed the plane. Infusion were also fantastic live, and the trance fans could not be disappointed with there lineup in the sun electic arena. How was Asys goin crazy standin on the table! Great night imo, but depending on what your into may not have been so good.

Never been to Belmont park before. They surely could have fitted another 6000 in.
Maybe it was my NYE hangover but pretty much all the dnb sounded crap, wobbly cheese rinse.
I really enjoyed DJ Format though, I thought it was an immaculate set with a cool vibe: the lights on and ppl doing hoedowns and irish jigs on the dancefloor.
Hype disappointed me, but then again i wasn't expecting much from him.
Didn't see any other acts in any other arena because i was scared of not being able to get back into the dnb room. That queue sucked major balls.
Did any of you see the chick run up the escalator with no undies on, everyone queued up erupted laughing, even the bouncers.
All in all if i knew the event was like this i wouldn't have gone. I was expecting another Sunshine People which is probably the best event I have been to.

Yea i had fun but this wasn't the best one, the line for the DnB room sucked and wasn't there spose to be an out side stage?? It might be just that i was hung ova and scattered from new yrs eve but still had fun

one of the reason there where changes to the event was because the original promoters that where going 2 be running the show pulled out a few weeks before event and then i think perthsocialclub or who ever they linked with picked it back up, so in that sense we where lucky it even happened.
but agreed all the factors already mentioned as well as a few of my own made it out as a pretty weird ... not unenjoyable .. but not what i expect to be feelin after n event i been lookin forward 2.
Was Kewl catchin up with a few bluelights and khillin out side with yall.

I Heard that the plane from Melbourne with most of the main acts on it was delayed 3-4 hours and that is why the lineup times had to be changed, so that is no fault of the promoters.
Despite the line-up changes I still had a wicked time, Hype was outstanding, and Daddy Earl was wicked too, love his style of MCing.
Cosmic Gate were also good, they started of abit slow, but built up in the end, the last 20 mins of there set was bloody fantastic, one of the best ends to a set/event i've ever heard.
Those were the only 2 acts I seen in full, I checked out Richie and Magda, but they weren't really my style, and also checked out some breaks, and it was pretty good, but I had more important acts to see at those times so I left that arena.
Line for DnB was crap, but what else are they going to do, you can't put the DnB room anywhere else as there are only 3 other rooms. The Trance Arena can't be replaced as its more important, and the other 2 arena's are smaller, so it wouldn't of helped anything.
