I too have never seen pure amph SO4* tested with mandelin, although the aqua colour anomaly with MDMA sounds similar to what I've experienced with mandelin. Occasionally a certain pill gives an edge or spots of this colour. Other people have also reported this, but to my knowledge no satisfactory explanation has yet been offered.

Brown 3 Update

Here is a scan of the 3 that I had. Like I said, identical to the naked eye as the other pic. But the scan shows the pill having more of a orange tone than it really does. Actual is colour is more between drinking chocolate brown & a rustic terracotta. something like that anyway. you'll just have to see for yourself :)
And yes the do smell like aniseed.

^^ I can absolutely positively confirm that those exact pills are doing the rounds in Sydney at the moment ;)
 
phase_dancer: you misread my post :) I've tested pure meth (or close to),
and the colour change is only a subtle aqua with Mandelibne. Also, pure
meth does not turn Marquise as orange as say pseuodephedrine.

I however never tested pure *amphetamine*. It is my suspicion that perhaps
it turns Mandeline more aqua then meth. Its not uncommon for amphetamine
to be put into MDMA pills to create a chargier experience.

Report on "brown" 3s:

First of all, I can now say with confidence that the "brown" and "red" 3s are one and the same. I purchased a couple of mine as "brown". Now, to me, they were fairly red, but when licked, they certainly did turn very dark red and almost brown. Another mate of mine purchased some pills as "red" from a different source. Before he picked them up, he was telling that when he saw them, they were as bright red as anything. When he showed me one, mine and his were exactly the same!!!

Definitelly one of the best pills I've ever had. The mistake was taking a full one while at a club. Saturday night (day:) ) started with a fair bit of meth smoke, and all was good. At night, the atmosphere at the club was unreal. I was enjoying the night 100%. Then I popped a full pill and when it hit me, suddenlly all I was enjoying is myself! It felt like I wasted the night because I got too wasted.

When we got home, we popped another full one, and that was one great day. After watching Jackass, someone got an idea that it would be cool to make our own Jackass movie with my video camera, filming us doing stunts with a big "fit ball" (a big blow up ball you see at the gyms). We took turns jumping and bouncing back off the walls, jumping off couches and chairs flat on the ground with the ball etc. and dropping chicks onto it from ceiling height.
Injuries included whiplashes, some bruises and one gash in the head from a failed "off-the-wall-twist-onto-ground" bounce from one crative participant. It was all good, because if its for the camera, it's always good.

In terms of the "type" of feeling I got, i can't really say there was anything other than MDMA in it, just a shitload of it, but I could be wrong. Definitelly between 100mg and 150mg and possibly even more. Slept well and no immediate comedown.

When pills like this are around its very hard not to go two weekends in a row especially that next weekend is a long weekend :)
 
i've hear they are a little bit stronger than the orange/reds
but id take it most of the 3's are similar. i've had orange, red and brown and they dont vary much
 
Not positive but I think orange, red and brown could all be one in the same. I too made the 'mistake' of taking a whole one in a club situation, it was good but I possibly missed the quality MDMA experience in favour of an 'oh my god I can't see' experience.

Yellow on the other hand could be a different batch. Speculation on my behalf but I beleive red/orange/brown is one and the same from my experience.
 
There is likely to be 3 types of threes at least.

A bright pastel orange colour like a fruit tingle.
A bright yellow that has distinct red speckles in them when held up to light like a monitor or lighter.

And then there seems to be this variety of munted style colours described anywhere from a dirty dark red/pink, a light brown with multi coloured speckles and chocolate brown - its my feeling that this latter lot is possibly all the same pill that just is not as consistent in appearance as the orange and yellows.

I personally found the orange ones to be slightly stronger - but that could have been due to other factors of course - whatever it is there is not much in it. (not much between the pills that is - there is a SHITLOAD of MDMA in these; possibly some MDA but until an Xtreme result who really knows)

My experiences have been similar to Runner's and Fry-d's.
The first orange 3 was taken whole in probably the hottest venue in Perth and thus the lesson was learnt well and truly.
3s are one of those rare pills that veterans can go a night on one and do themselves justice and would only take in halves if they wanted a nice, clean and danceable experience.
 
yeah. red, orange and brown are all different. red is distinctivley red, orange is distinctivley orange. and the brown looks kinda orange in the light. but from seeing both no its not. it isnt as flaky as the other 2 and have a better press. you can see the spec of white, green and dark balck blue in the brown.
i have heard that the 3's are stronger so they could be slightly different. but i could judge each of those 3 pills, but i dont think i would do them justice because i took them on different nights and each night have different circumstances and factors that affect how good the pill is.
 
Alfa Romeo

Has any one else had any expirience with white alfa romeos?
I came across another one over the weekend.
The only report I found on pill reports is mine from a couple of months ago

The one on saturday was identical in both appearance and effects. I had just the one pill this time and took it in halves and it was a good night:)
 
Anyone who had orangy/yellow 3's in Perth find that the orange colour changed after awhile to a lighter colour...More yellow looking??
 
Quantitative Mitsubishi result

A friend of an acquaintance of mine recently was able to provide the following interesting tidbits from a lab test done on the following pills:
This was probably done several months ago.

Purple motorola; with score; MDMA only - no quantitative result.

Purple question mark: MDMA and caffeine - no quantitative result.
(this surprised me as i remember most people felt these were very poor/weird - likely the quality of the MDMA was bad and a small amount at that)

WHITE MITSUBISHI - CROSS SCORE
- these were the very large ones around a short time ago
- MDMA only and around 72-75 mg of MDMA per pill.


This information is hearsay so its accuracy cannot be guaranteed 100%. (95% though)
However most experienced users who have had these crossed scored mitsis would describe them as a mid-range dose of clean MDMA. I certainly did; i think i said 70-80mg from memory - not the strongest but certainly quite acceptable.

So 72mg in the lab test is spot on with what most thought.

This result can assist SLIGHTLY in these mitsis (for those who have had them) serving as a benchmark when "GUESSING" dosage.

However please note that many other things differ between pills besides dosage:
- the chemical composition (other active drugs besides MDMA);
- the quantity and type of impurities; and
- the subjective effects of set and setting.

However if the effects of another pill are very similar to the mitsis but just weaker of stronger, a decent guestimate could be made.

Hopefully a report on one of the 3s may cross his or her path - i think that result would be extremely interesting.

haha I hear ya. Was meant to have a break but couldn't resist going out fri & sat on these brown 3's. No doubt i'll be doing it again this long weekend =D.

...but then i'm having a long over due break. :p
 
That is very interesting information. Cheers for the detective work Biscuit :)

Seems to be in line with what everyone was thinking re. the strength but its good to have a benchmark.
