Perth BL meetup - Long weekend??

Yeh the Belgium Beer cafe in the afternoon sounds good.

Not sure about the Rise. Rather than going to a nightclub I was hoping for a good ole sit down n chat about drugs, harm min or whatever else. I guess it depends on what everyone wants :P Maybe we could head off to Rise or somewhere else after.
 
I was thinking Belgium Beer Cafe myself but then I wondered if it wasn't way too expensive for y'all. I guess not, personally I don't care about the price.

yeah that was a joke about the rise, i get nightmares after everytime i go there.
Where is the Belgium beer cafe?
Did you guys have any rough idea to when this might be happening as i wouldn't mind coming to this and im sure vickers would be keen.
It'd be good to come up and out drink all of you.

Now for the date:
Any ideas? How does the 28th (Friday) or 29th (Saturday) of this month sound?
Or sometime midweek? midweek might actually suit me better.
 
Call me a poor, stingy uni student (all are correct. On the money) but even though Belgium Beer Cafe is central and awesome could we transfer it to some pub right nearby that wicked central location... One that doesnt charge pint prices for middy's?

I know there are at least two pubs (elephant wheelbarrow, fibber mcgee's) that are really bloody close to Belgium Beer Cafe that give you a full pint of Stella for $7.... as opposed to the Belgium Beer Cafe's offerings of an artistic 300ml glass of Stella for $8.50.

I just figure if we are going to a place that is central... with no preference for music, providing we can order beer and drink it at seats - we might as well go to a place that gives you maximum beer for minimum money.

any yays or nays?
 
im up for the wheelbarrow, any weekend will be full though...
unless its weekend in the day?
 
I prefer weekend too, but I'd probably come one a weeknight still but have to drink less
 
If its the wheelbarrow on a weeknight its pretty convenient for me, Ive never been to one of these before so I'll be down for it
 
I would prefer the afternoon/day of the weekend, maybe easier/quieter for a chat and not as likely to get in the way of other plans but what ever suits the group.
 
We're all a bunch of fence sitters. ;)

But yeah, I'd prefer afternoon/day on the weekend but during the week is fine too. Whatever. And the Wheelbarrow sounds good.
 
Hrmmm not so sure about this saturday yet :(
How about the one after on the 22nd, that gives everyone tons of notice.
 
I got work @ 6.30 but i can come for a few hours in the afternoon :)

i recon i mite b interested in this, alothough id like a place wich dont ask for id much cauz im only 17, 18 on the 18th of dec 1 week b4 the fat old dude comes down yu chimney
