Perth BL meetup - Long weekend??

Evidently not this weekend... I'm sure we can arrange a meetup in godskitchen for all those that will be attending.

But otherwise i'm good as long as ive got nothing already on. You might want to start a new thread if you do organise something though.
 
Ello perth kiddies. I'll be over your way mid january. I'm not sure of the exact date I'll be arriving yet (prob round the weekend of the 13th) but I'm thinking I'll hang round for a week or so anyway. Would be nice to finally meet some of the westerners :)
 
I'm putting in my expression of interest. I also work quite long hours though so I can't always guarenttee that I am going to make it.
 
I would like to meet you guys before i move over east.

...we had a small gathering last Wed in Northbridge and drinks at the Cott for Duckboy on Sunday but I couldnt for the life of me get on BL to mention it to anyone I didnt know...:\


But you guys should pull your fingers out when Kat comes over and get a good meetup going on. Shes bloody good fun to be around indeed. :D

I'm only 5 minutes from the city centre of Perth, have cars and good train access, only thing is I work a lot of hours (as aforemetioned). If you're willing to work around that I would definitely been keen to meet up/show you around or whatever, but obviously if a meetup can be arranged when you're in town that'd be sweet.
 
Just don't go to Carnegie's on Wednesdays. Half-priced cocktails aren't worth the wait ;)
 
Keep us up to date with whats going on and you never know, I might be about :)

let us know when and where and if possible I would love to meet some peeps. How about somewhere like Little Creatures so that Kat gets to check it out? If it is the city I have never been to the pub that's down the river near that silly bell tower, I was told that it is a nice place to sit and gaze at the river and it would allow us to say "I'll see you with bells on." 8) Just trying to think of somewhere that you get to sight see and drink at the same time. Anyhow keep us informed.

helooo people, i'm in perth from the 2nd for a few months.. wouldn't mind meeting up with a few bluelighters so i'll keep an eye on this thread =)
 
I'm flying into perth tonight and staying for a couple of days before going down south for a week, then I'll be back for a bit longer. Just wondering if anyone would like to have a drink on tuesday night (16th). Just because it's my birthday and I would like to do something! I'm staying in northbridge so somewhere round there would be good. Anyhow, I'll check back once I'm in perth so let me know :) I'll try to organise something bigger with a bit more notice once I'm there.
 
mebbe - i have work commitments so will have to arange something around that, and see who else wants to go?
and where abouts?

How does the Queen's Hotel or the Brisbane sound? Both are within walking distance :)
 
Yay Kat!

The Brizzy or Queens sounds good to me,(or even the Brass Monkey? It's probably easier for Kat to find).

What time? I finish at 6ish so anytime after that is drinking time.
