Some background on my past use:
May 2007- March 2009: IV oxy ( 40-60mg), Hydromorphe ( 8-16mg), East Coast powdered heroin ( 3-5 bags)
March 2009 - to 4 days ago: average of 12mg of Suboxone per day
Last 4 days prepping to inject use a recent script of thirty 15mg Mallinckrodt Oxy IR :
Day 1: 8mg Sub at 7am
Day 2: 4mg Sub at 3pm
Day 3: 2mg Sub at 3am
2mg Sub at 6pm
1mg Sub at 8pm
Day 4: 3mg Sub at 6am
As i type this it is day 4 at 3pm
Any advice on this would be appreciated, especially from people who have switch back onto short acting opiates like oxy or Dillys after long term Subxone use. I dont know is Suboxone is cumulative, but i figured it probly is, and that the standard 24 hour wait after a single random dose wouldnt be enough for my system to be ready to IV Oxy IRs after being on bupe for over 18 months. I figured it would be more than i could bear to wait it out all at once, so my theory was that i would drastically wean down and maybe wait 24-30 hours after my very last 2-3mg dose after weaning fast for few days, instead of having to wait maybe 60 hours or something like that after my last regular 12mg dose ( i figured id be in pretty bad WDs the last 20 hours of this period if i did it this way). thats what ive been doing it like this the past few days. thanks in advance for any insight on this!
