Person taking several anti-psychotics, etc, stopping medication-Bad feeling bout this

I also posted something similar here:

This contains questions regarding drugs and interactions, so if you don't want to read it or look at it, I will post the more appropriate version for this forum. Hopefully this is respectful to everyone.

Long story short. I am prescribed Klonopin, and several other drugs, but not for serious mental issues, just to help with anxiety, and the anxiety of being an ex-heroin user, and am now on a Suboxone program, and my Dr. prescribes me various drugs.

I ran out early, and needed 1 extra pill. One of my girlfriends "friends" (I put friends quotes, because he was a friend was he was under control, now he is a different person).

My girlfriend was NOT buying anything from him, but in the past he has helped her out - me indirectly, if I ever ran a few days or pills low on my klonopin. That seemed normal to me at the time, since I'm on Klonopin.

After being very sketchy, doing things like changing his phone number multiple times, ignoring phone calls for days, disappearing, my girlfriend texted him telling him the urgency of the situation, and could he help, sparring me a trip to the hospital, etc. Since I only need .5-1mg of Klonopin. Finally he responds to her, and they agree to meet, and my girlfriend does a favor for him (nothing sexual or anything bad). He then hands her a hand fill of pills, and said they were not Klonopin, they were something else, then wouldn't talk about it, and left my girlfriends house.

She immediately called me, and told me what it was, and I looked it up finding out that it was Risperidone which is
Risperidone is an anti-psychotic medication. It works by changing the effects of chemicals in the brain. Risperidone is used to treat schizophrenia and symptoms of bipolar disorder (manic depression).

Granted, I have taken some anti-psychotic medication in the past, Seroquel, but very very rarely, and only because it would knock my ass out into a coma-like state if I ever was in bad need of sleep. So I'm not sure exactly, how bad this is (in terms of mental condition), but hopefully I will find out through research and the other thread.

Found this doesn't have any value what so ever, which make's it worse, since it's just giving away all his drugs with no value to anyone, clearly not taking them.

In addition to what already happened, reports have been coming to my girlfriend, not me, because they were more her circle of friends, about how he's been doing more strange things, talking crazy, being reckless, drinking LARGE amounts of liquor, I believe might be doing steroids.

I was upset with him, and going to say something, because giving someone a "fake" drug could really harm someone who is already taking drugs (both myself and girlfriend) however she told me that he might kill me, and told me more of the stories, including he is in possession of a handgun, and recently found of he was put on disability for being insane.

Now looking back,d we can't admit to taking any of his pills, and this would have to be anonymous, but what should we do. To me this looks like a pre-psychotic break, or he's in the midst of one, and with possession of a firearm, not taking anti-psychotics (several), giving away pills with no value because he's not taking them, drinking excessively, acting and being reckless, and have paranoid-schizophrenia symptoms like hiding for days and changing his number because he thinks people are after him.

Well i wouldnt rat him to the cops unless you where sure he was dangerous to someone else even then id think twice and handle it myself maybe. But thats just me :\ . Ive been through that and the fucking pigs never help any situation much less one where mental health is concerned. Is there any family member or friend he might listen to? That would work alot better at getting him back on his meds then anything really.

Also people with mental illness are very rarely dangerous at all. Though you do know alot more about this person then me so you would know the situation alot better. Also as someone who suffers from bipolar disorder i can tell you that drinking makes it about a million times worse just as it does every other mental illness. As for steroids i can only imagine what they would do to someone who has a preexisting mental illness considering just how fucked up they can make people with no mental illness.

Do you know if this person is actually bipolar or schizophrenic by the way? Sometimes risperidone is prescribed for other problems as well.

I'm not sure his actual diagnosis. In his current state I do know that with the alcoholism, and steroid use, and as proven by other peoples experience, he is quick to jump the gun and start fights, so I'm hesitant of doing anything myself.

Although Dr's can't discuss Dr-patient confidentiality, could an anonomous letter to his Dr, if I found the name, perhaps trigger the Dr to investigate?

And as far as the fiream (I don't think he posses a fid, or ccw), I would probably have to sign a statement for a warrant. I know most people with mental disorders, normally arn't violent, society just thinks they are because of shows like criminal intent, and sterotypes, but this guy, according to everyone aronud his seems to be spirling out of control. He's over 18 so intervention/parents wouldn't help, unless I got a court order, but again without being anonomous the options are limited.

I've told my girlfriend to stay away from him, and just try to gather as much information until the true story can be realized, but I'm trying to get the best idea in advance. Unfortuantly you just never know these days who might snap.

You never could anydays in anytime really so thats nothing new.

A anon letter to his doctor might not be the best option either because if he finds out and ditches the doctor it could make him paranoid as fuck. Ive had that everyone close to me (but a few who i don't seem to get paranoid around at all) is out to get me feeling and even though i know it's not real well usually it's pretty fucking intense. Also after i did have a run in with law enforcement it sent me into a downward spiral that took me about 2 fucking years to get out of. I didnt trust anyone who was involved and only trusted maybe a few people. Hell even to this day if im manic and i even hear the fucking word cops my paranoia jumps through the roof. So it's best to refer to them as pigs around me :D

Even if he is over 18 i mean fuck there has to be someone who he might listen to. It's often hard to have insight into just how bad you are getting and sadly the worse you get the harder it gets to realize that. But if someone anyone who he actually trusts talks to him about it he might get a flash of insight. Hey if it's happened to me it can happen to anyone :\
