Hey BlueLight,

After rolling for slightly over a year now and LSD use I now brux while I sleep and during my more anxious days. This has never occurred prior to taking bruxism inducing drugs. How do I know? My back teeth hurt, and I occasionally get headaches that I refer to as "bruxism headaches". The headache is always isolated in a specific area on my head, which is always more pronounced after taking MDMA. I believe that it's become a habit stemmed from bruxism-inducing-drug use.

I'm wondering if anyone else suffers from post-MDMA bruxism and if there are ways to alleviate symptoms. I'm getting my hands on a mouthguard, so that I don't ruin my teeth during sleep, but during the day it's also quite bothersome. I've tried magnesium already and it does not help.

Thank you.

Hey Zalo, your problems sound psychological and I can relate to sober bruxism. My personal theory is that we create a positive psychological attachment between gurning & the incredible feelings of MDMA which can result in sober bruxism. I have spoke to a few ravers who said that you can teach yourself to control the bruxism while on MDMA (but I really don't care while on MDMA). But perhaps look it up? It's probably some form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
