Persistent Deja Vu

The past two days something very odd has been happening. I have been experiencing frequent occurrences of deja vu. Yesterday I had one that last about 20 minutes, it was as extreme as some short ones could be, but every action and observation I made in that time span had that deja vu feeling to it.I believe that my recent amphetamine usage could be the cause of this. I did a fair amount of meth early last week and did some adderall yesterday and the day before. I have felt a little different overall since then, but could this be the cause of my deja vu. Has anyone else had any experience with this due to any drugs or just at all? Any information would be helpful!
 
About a week ago, I experienced what believed to be a flashback from mushrooms that was very intense and basicly froze me temporarily. The next few days after that I experienced heavy deja vu while at school. This probably doesnt help you in any way, but just sharin my experience.
 
I used to do quite a bit of meth (I've been clean for 4 months now) and had the same experience you described. It would happen pretty often- I'd get this super-eerie deja vu and the deja vu would come on during something that hadn't really happened before- it was like a misplaced or unwarranted deja vu. I would ask my little meth buddies I was hanging out with at the time if they ever experienced this strange, persistent deja vu over things that haden't really happened before and they said they had it too. Maybe it's a (meth)amphetamine thing, but it's terribly interesting to find that others have had the same experience.
 
I don't fuck around with that much speed more with benzo's & opiates. I too often have these mad situations where I get all confused by a major case of deja vu. I'll just be chillin somewhere or going to someplace for what I perceive is the first time & then I just get these feeling that I've been in this place before & what is going on righ now I've done before. It's drives me fucking crazy. Drughs can really fuck with the brain...
 
I haven't used meth in two months (used to be pretty nearly daily). I'm planning on firing some shards up my nose this weekend but that's beside the point. Ever since I have discontinued my use of meth I have been periodically getting really weird deja-vu feelings or like NoriegA said a weird feeling that I have been in a place, or in a situation without ever being there before. I occasionally use mary-jane and some other drugs, but I don't really think they have anything to do with it. I'm pretty sure it's the meth. I'd be interested in learning the physiology/pharmacodynamic action of this. But at any rate, you're not alone. This is weird, but hey, life goes on right?
