i've been smoking weed daily at least 3 times a day, if not more, and only find myself "sober" when i run out...which is rare.........but now i've been slowing down a tad from it but it seems that i'm not completely sober even though i havent smoked for three days.......has anyone else experienced this before? can anyone help?

i've read somewhere about a guy who took 40000 ecstasy pills in a 9 year period and he said that months after he quit he still felt like he was rolling........could weed have the same effect?

hmm... Sounds like psychosis but I don't think that weed can do that to you. Perhaps your mind is just in a fog or a haze from all of it. Have you been getting much sleep?

yeah....welll, idk....really the only times i try not to smoke on is school days so i dont get THAT much sleep

I don't have a particular source from this, however, I have heard many times that it can take months for all of the THC biproducts lingering in your fat to be eliminated, especially so for extremely regular smokers.

I smoke weed practically every day, and even when I'm not high, my baseline is still a touch above sober - it feels normal now because it's so common, but I remember a time when the day after I smoked, I felt fairly baked still, so I know its effects are still working. They're subtler as a regular smoker because your brain has formed a tolerance to it, but nonetheless the chemical is still at work.

However, the mind is fairly resilient, fortunate for those of us who make a hobby of feeding strange substances to it. Within a few months, tops, I should think you'll be totally cleared up. Exercise regularly if you don't already, I've always found that to help a lot with clearing out the mental fog. If that doesn't do it, consider starting to take piracetam; it's done wonders for me in terms of keeping me motivated and focused despite my consistent smoking.

Marijuana stops you from entering REM stage of sleep, which in short term means you can't dream or have a deep sleep, so you wake up tired or 'burnt-out'. In the long-term it can be very dangerous, you have to dream sometime, and if it's not during sleep, you will dream consciously (psychosis). Either that, or you could just be some residual THC from the last time you smoked up.

It's not a high, it's just decreased cognitive clarity. When I've had to stop smoking it took about a month for the clarity to come, it's almost like that claritin commercial where it's fuzzy until they remove a layer than it's clear. No you can't be in a permahigh, that just ain't happening.

I used to have what you're talking about happen after a hard partied weekend.. Iuno what it is or why it happens, but now and again I've experience what you're talking about.

I am always high, i take hash oil made from indica so its like 97% thc and i smoked 3-4 joints a day, a stopped for a week and my brain works like normal thc has a half life of 4 days, so after 8 days you should be really sobered up. i took about 15ml of pure thc on a period of 3months and it took me about 2 weeks to sober up after i stopped and no worries weed can't damage shit its just that your memory thinks your high but after a while its gone

You are still high. It just takes time to wear off. If you do not want it to last so long, do not use so much.

I always get the best sleep and feel the best rested after I fall asleep high...

do you have a source for that?

Yeah, I usually feel like I'm a little out of it even if I haven't been blazing for a couple days. It goes away after a week or two though.

i've heard this before too

when i dont smoke i have the best lucid dreams. but when i fall asleep high i still dream but its more foggy. maybe you dont go into a deep sleep but you still sleep well. i would like to see a source for that one

also no your not permanently high. this happen to me and after a couple weeks it feels like you are refreshed

Wow. i just recently quit smoking because I felt the opposite, like i was never high. All i get is bomb ass headies to. Me and my g/f would blaze through an 8th and i would just feel like i wasted 35 bucks

sleeping high is the best sleep. and the REM thing it just happens after you wake up not weeks later or whatever. sleeping high also gives me vivid dreams but im to high right now to remember if i dreamed last night when i slept high :\

sort of.

the literature i've seen does indicate that marijuana reduces REM sleep. however, the REM phase is the very opposite of "deep sleep" -- it's the most active part of the sleep cycle. the "deep sleep" you're talking about occurs during Phase 4, and is actually increased following the use of marijuana.

so you're correct that marijuana can have a negative impact on sleep (residual THC adds to the "weed hangover" affect as well), but your science leaves something to be desired.

absolutely not.

Dude that is wild because I thought I was the only one who like experienced that hahah. I mean I used to blaze alot more than I do now, like now I only blaze about 3 times daily and over the summer when I smoking more than I do now, I ran out of bud for like a week when I was staying at my buddies at the beach and every day I felt sooooo high it was crazy. Haha Im glad to see someone else has experienced that!
