For about a year I was abusing the shit out of adderall. I started taking it at low doses maybe once or twice a month, strictly for midterms and finals. The abuse became a consistent progression of increased dosing. During the final months of abusing adderall, I was even snorting the shit. The frequency of me taking adderall increased to an average of 3-4 times a week of taking it. During this time, I was taking up to 100 mg throughout a single day. I finally stopped cold turkey last May of 2013. I've taken it maybe 2 or 3 times since, but just at really small doses (5-10mg). It's strange, because I would assume after not abusing adderall for so many months, I would really feel the euphoria at even a small dose. I feel almost NOTHING.. Maybe a little more focused, if that. Judging from the description of my abuse of adderall, and taking all of your experiences and research into consideration, does the brain ever heal after taking adderall for that long, and from taking that much? I know adderall fucks with your dopamine levels, and I've also read that if you do too much for too long, your dopamine receptors become irreversibly fried. For my particular case, will my brain ever recover?? I've been obsessing over this question for the past few months, and just want to know so I can put my mind at ease...
