Perlite dust in weed

I have extremely sensitive lungs. I switched dealers about 8 months ago or so, and his stuff is actually really good. But then I started finding amounts of this white crystally matter, which was almost tasteless. I thought it might be somehow clumps of crystals... But taste didn't match. Thought it might be minerals... like potassium, for some reason.

I recently showed a friend and he said it is probably perlite.

I had some issues with pain in my lungs. More I should say, have. I recently noticed this stuff in it/on a bag I bought from him, again. It had been months. I have been using an alternate means... But there was a gap in supply.

The new bag had this, killed my lungs. Even taste the dust it seems. I fear I have done irreparable damage to myself. Even though I can go without pain since it first began... my left lung has not felt right since I started noticing it.

I won't smoke anymore from this bag. The guy is actually really cool. I want to tell him to tell his growers to be careful. I've only ever seen this from this guy.

Anyone else run into this? Its a shame. The bud is actually good. But it might have caused damage. Or it might just be asthma, not that it isn't something like perlite. Clean weed doesn't bother me hardly at all.

Yes I have seen this... very rarely, it is just an accident.

If there is a bunch of it I would be super suspect, if there are like 2 or 3 in a personal bag, could have been someone just being careless.

I dont think this would effect your lungs if you arnt smoking the actual perlite, the new bud might be a chemically fertilized indoor and you may have been receiving organic outdoor/greenhouse before.

I would hunt down a source with an outdoor organic bud if you have sensitive lungs.

Or someone who knows exactly what they are doing indoor.
