I have looked and used the search botton, but I want to get an idea from those with experience..... what can I expect from cold turkey wd from 8-9 month 60-75 mg daily oxycodone use? Took 1 5mg perc I found in my draw an hour ago , otherwise my cold turkey would have started earlier today.

Some people can handle it much better than others. You're use isn't nearly as bad as others, it's around someone taking two oxy 30IR which isn't huge. You should probably expect some cold sweats, lethargy, loss of appetite, energy, and of course feeling down. Btw, were you getting all your doses from percosets? I hope you weren't taking all those doses with the added acetaminophen. I'd be more worried about your liver health right now.

Yea just percocet, but 10/325 , so even if I took 7 a day... thats only 2,275 mg of Tylenol a day . Way below the daily allowance.

Its gonna be like the flu for 3-5 days then you should be ok. Forcefully powering through it is the best way, just force yourself to do things.

Whil I do agree with others, everyone is different in their withdrawals. I went cold turkey from roughly a 40-50mg's of oxy a day habit (although I was taking 5+mg of Ativan a day as well) and I was vomiting and shitting my brains out for several days. It took injections (into my ass cheek of course :|) to prevent the dehydration from being life threatening.

My experience may be related to the benzo withdrawal at the same time as the opiates. But as a suggestion, the BRAT diet is great because it's comprised of foods that you won't vomit right back out. It stands for Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. Very mild foods for the stomach, I suggest this diet during the w/d's to prevent as much nausea as possible while being able to eat

Thanks guys for the support, I broke down and found some 5 mg vics to get me by until refill day. I feel like a complete pussy!

Don't feel like a pussy. Frankly, you were in for hell on earth. At least for a few days.

I'll concede that people handle the different 'tiers' of opiate withdrawal differently, but even the mildest end of the spectrum is enough to leave you functionally useless.

Each time you go through the withdrawal, it steps it up a notch the next time around. Be wary.
