Hello fellow bluelighters.........well as you can already tell I need help with percocet....about 2 weeks ago a friend of mine got a hold of some percocet 10/325
so I bought 10 off of him.......I popped one and damn I was feeling good.....so as u may already know 10 lead to 20 then 30 then 40 I just bought my 50th last night.....I've been taking about 2 to 3 a day faithfully for the past 2 and a half weeks......smoke some bud with it and I'm feeling good......but when I don't pop a perc..my stomach is in knots and usually feel like throwing up.....I need to get off perc as quickly as possible.......don't like the feeling when I'm not perked up....plus my wallet is feeling the strain......it feels like I can't stop.....I need help any advice would be greatly appreciated......in 2008 i was taking Xanax I withdrew on my own from that nasty benzo.....it was the worst month of my life.....I did it on my own with no help.....thought I was gonna die....this time around I don't know what to expect from opiate WD........plz any help would be appreciated thanks and God bless.

on 20-30 mg you might as well just man up and quit cold turkey. you havent been on that long of a run so the worst would be over after about 3 days. just take some imodium for your stomach and maybe use some diphenhydramine to help sleep. tapering would only stretch your wallet and addiction out needlessly.

Hello again....thank u for your replies.....well ive been feeling Nauscious all day long like my stomach was in knots, im hungry but i cant eat.....a little anxious.....nothing crazy yet.....i feel very tired and sore....its been 16 hours since a popped a perc. How long is an opiate withdrawl...? I was thinking cold turkey but i dont know if there are any side effects from quitting cold turkey.....i remember with xanax i had taper instead of cold turkey...due to high risks of seizures.....damn benzo withdrawl is noooo joke...i was withdrawling for about a month with benzos.....will a joint help with the withdrawl?

if you generally enjoy smoking pot then yeah, it should help your stomach and anxiety. 2 or 3 days and the worst should be over. trust me, i could be much worse.
i'm currently detoxing off alot more than you are and i can't smoke pot (parinoia:()

Take some Imodium for your stomach and some diphenhydramine at night for sleep. Throughout the day you should also take Tylenol or any other OTC pain reliever. That should be all that you need for the next 2-3 days.

Oh forgot, yes marijuana would help you with many of your symptoms. They should be mild to begin with.

If your addiction is psychological, consider suboxone treatment for long term. Plus it makes w/d non existent.

Thats BAD advice. You don't need to get hooked on any sort of maintenance opioid for a 2.5 week binge on Percocet. Just suck it up for the next 2-3 days with the use of OTC drugs that I and other people have already recommended.

before I got on methadone which saved my life I was doing 30 or more percs a day, only way I got off was the doan,I get to take 16 a day and I'm doing 12 and have saved couple hundred in case something happens I can do a slow withdrawl.that amt. of percs just wean down maybe 1/2 pill biweekly.<3 good luck

why do people post shit like this, do you not do opiates or something and just wanted to chime in and up your post count? it baffles me. The dude has taken a TOTAL OF 50 PILLS and you are telling him to get ON another opiate...a much more powerful opiate. Doesn't make too much sense does it?

Now to the OP....you will not have any side effects from going cold turkey besides the usual withdrawal symptoms which will be very minimal.

For the amount of time and dose you've been using, hands down you will feel good in 3-4 days and GREAT in a week and pretty much 100% in two weeks.

Honestly since you werent using too much and not long you will probably just loose some sleep / be shitting watery / no appetite / fucked up body temp for like 3 days then everything will just fade away over the next few days

Thank you. I posted the same response earlier and some newbie chimes in saying "what a great idea (Suboxone)"

Personally I'm on Suboxone treatment but thats because I had been using for 10 years, in and out of jail, rehabs, peoples homes and purses. Not because I was coming off 1 prescription bottle.

Sitting here now drooling over the thought of some percs! they are favorites i havent even been able to find here in over 5 years lol I was up to 30 or so a day, draining bottles of 250 in no time..the come down certainly isnt a fun one, and i always noticed my knees were the first to ache like a bitch.. but you havent been on too many or for too long, so give it a couple days and it will fade out..at least the physical effects of coming off should.. the main thing i would say is drink a lot of water, and a lot of cranberry juice (not juice drink, just the juice) if you can drink the stuff that is lol to help flush your system out of them.. and something like tylenol to help the aches and pains :)

Thank u fellow bluelighters for all the replies.......heres the situation im on week 3 of everyday use of percocet 10/325.....so far ive popped 48 of those little rascals.....ive decided to go cold turkey.....im gonna try with the help of some bud......i dont want this pill to take over my life......i hope im not in too deep....because when i was messing around with xanax i took 32 1 ml (footballs) in a 3 week span....and i endured close to 1 month of withdwrawl hell......with opiates what will be the worst of all the withdrawls??????? Will i feel paranoia????like with xanax???? These percs are to ez to come by around my hood.....i need to cut that connect off.....i guess thats a good start.......any good advise or help will be greatly apprecited.......lol@ teresa....na u dont need those little rascals in your life....

Hello everyone again......well today im officially day 1 on my opiate withdrawl.....it sucks......i got a hold of lyrca 100 milligrams....i read somewhere on line that it woul ease the withdrawls from percocet.....i dont know if that true but im willin to try just to avoid wihdrawls....i just popped one and i smoked a bowl....about 3hours ago....i feel ok a little anxious but nothing major....shoul i continue my lyrica intake?
