No asshole answered me in BDD so I thought I'd have success here.

The other day a friend gave me 12 5mg/325 APAP Percocets. Now I've only ever used oxycodone once, at 7.5mg. It did virtually nothing. I have been doing CWEs daily on 300mg of codeine for the past 2 weeks. Considering my codeine tolerance, what dose of oxycodone should I use to get off?

I have used various narcotic conversion tables to try to figure this out but they all gave me different results; some say a dose of 30mg of oxy is equivalent to 300mg codeine, while others give a dosage as low as 15mg of oxy. So what the hell? I only have 12 pills, so I don't want to waste them. How many do I use???

Thanks!

I'd go for 20 mg of oxycodone with that tolerance, with 5-325's you shouldn't need to cwe with so little apap so long as its not on the regular.

p.s those conversion tables are a bit iffy. The conversion from oral codeine to oral morphine seems all over the place to me.

Thanks, guys! Yeah I was thinking 20mg myself. That way I can space out three doses, as I only have 12 pill. If I were to take 25mg it would fuck it up considering I only have the 12 pills. Thanks again ;)

you only waited 20 minutes before making that assessment? you are very impatient, but do as you will...

Oxycodone reaches peak blood levels an hour after oral administration. Be patient, young grasshopper, and use the search engine next time.

Diffrent people react to different drugs differently though. you could need up to 30mg of oxycodone to get a buzz, but titrate up - slowly.

You need to relax. These drugs take time to work, like all orally ingested drugs. Take it easy and work your dose up slowly (titrate) if you aren't feeling it after an hour or so. Orally ingested opiates take time to work. It's not instant gratification.

If you have a 300mg codiene tolerance, 20 mg oxy will not cut it likely. You should be alright at 30-40 mg IMO. You shouldn't need more than that really, but take it slow. You don't want to over-do it and find out just how much of a kick oxy really has.

Conversion charts are pretty much your best bet, but everyone is different so slowly work your way up until you reach a dose that is comfortable for you.

You can always take more, but you can't UNtake anything.
No better way to waste your pills than puking them all up, right?
