percocet 5mg, how many can i take ? high? od? be safe? plz answer my newbie questions

I was injured by a car hitting me, i was prescribed diluadid by my first dr. Now my new dr(who doesnt really like me) put me on oxycodone 5 mg ,2 every 6 hours. I was in bad pain last week cuz i fell on my broken leg, i took 5, but i had a panic attack and thought i might o.d., i took 6 before and didnt worry about, but i rarely do this, i usually only take 10-15 past couple months. Could i have died? Or was high?

Okay second question, how long does it take percocet to kick in so i know not to take to much,if swim took 5 5mgs at once, how long till it hits its peak or until swim can take more to get high? My friend takes them too , and we are having a disput on how percocet works. Idk much about painkillers. She took 7 and her heartbeat slowed to 59 bpm! Isnt that overdosing?

Plz let me know some facts,advice, so i know whats safw and what is not.

I take ativan for my panic attacks, can ativan cancel out the percocet?

Ativan will potentiate Percocet. It's tough to determine what would be safe without knowing your full opiate experience, and adding the Ativan complicates things. How long it takes to kick in depends on how full your stomach is. I'd guess when you took 5 and 6, you were high, but not close to OD. When I was opiate nieve, one or two perk 5's would have be super high, but everyone's natural tolerance us different.

On an empty stomach, Percocet will hit you between 45 minutes to an hour. When full, I've waited over two hours to feel effects. Hope this was somewhat helpful. .

59 is a very normal resting heart rate for a healthy person. Depending on how much you've eaten it should generally take between 30 minutes to an hour to kick in. If you have a low tolerance to opioids then 6(30mg) should get you pretty high. If you decide to eat more than that though it would be best to do a cwe (cold water extraction) (there are a ton of threads on how to do it) to filter out the acetaminophen. You are left with pure opiate water and it won't damage your liver. Especially if the percs you have are 5/500s. 3000mg of acetaminophen is probably an overdose.

Okay. So if someone wants to feel good on them, they should take a couple, wait an hour ,if they dont feel it then take a couple more? I heard high fat meals help them, or tums or benadryl. Well ive been on 10 mg every 6 hours for 4 months, been on benzodiaapines off and on since i was 17, stopped for 6 months then got back on ativan 3 months ago, 3 mgs a day.

I got a lot of anxiety about death, i had a full blown panick attack yesterday after i took 20mg of oxycodone( i was in major pain, almost went to the e.r.)and so i took an ativan, but still thought i was having trouble breathing and obsessed with checking my heart rate,so i finally took another ativan so 2mgs in 4 hours.
If i was o.d.ing would i know it? Or is it just my mind, bcs ive known ppl who done alot more than i have. I only take extra oxycodone, when im in severe pain . Never to get fucked up on purpose. Idk im naive to painkillers, i know alot of facts from drug docs but thats it.
I got alot more questions, i was on diluadid, before how come it didnt help me as much as the oxycodone? It made me feel a lil high but really didnt help pain.

I definitely don't think you overdosed, you would have to take a lot more than that to OD. Those symptoms were most likely from your panic attack. But if you have been on percs for 4 months then you def have a tolerance. I don't eat pills anymore because I've moved onto IVing but when I used to take them orally I wouldn't eat before because I'd get higher that way. If I were you trying to get high I'd take 30mg, wait an hour and then take 10-15 more mg depending on how you feel. Also I don't know what kind of benzos your on but if you take a couple with your percs you will feel great

As for the dilaudid, I'm not sure why it didn't work as well for you because its a stronger opiate that oxy. Personally I like dilaudid much better than oxy. Maybe the dose was too low? Hope this helped.
