The way we perceive things,
To keep an openmind about all,
Is where it all begins.
Is a way to keep conflict from taking us to the wall.
Being able to let go and make our own decisions,
To also look outside the square,
Allows us to come to our own unique conclusions,
Only for those enlightened enough to care.
We get our impressions by comparing with what we already know,
Therefore the more knowledge we have, the better our given perceptions,
And the more realistic do our thoughts start to flow,
This being the reason for our differing directions.

...thanks for your time :)

"This being the reason for our differing directions."
i had to read this twice to start to get the overall meaning, and then once i did, i really liked it. (how simple, the overall meaning is described by the last sentence)
i love how everyone perceives things differently, that's what makes life interesting and artists unique. that's what makes little kids fascinating, when they discover every new detail of the world, and think of the cutest words for new things they see that they don't know the word for yet.
this just brought it all together.

Love your response :)
Little kids are the best especially when they are to young(say the 1st 12months) to understand or need material items...so beautiful to watch them do what they do ;)
