Perc + Valium + Alcohol

I've taken about 13mg of diazepam today with with a whole grapefruit about 3 hours ago. Just started on a bottle of wine (3 hours since) and now I'm about to take 20mg of percocet that I stumbled upon from a friend. Is this combo one to avoid? I've always mixed 10 mg of valium with (a few beers) alcohol and been fine. I'm not sure if the combination of all of these within a few hours worth of time is a good idea? Also, I have 15 mg of Morphine which I was also curious of the combination of valium (13mg) + morphine (15mg) + alcohol (4-5 glasses of wine) is an okay idea?

Thanks!

Oh yeah, plus some pot, always.

Well alcohol + the acetaminophen in percocets = bad for your liver. In terms of being sloppy on a bunch of downers, it probably wont be too bad to be honest. Not condoning it, however. I've always found diazepam to well potentiate my alcohol even if I took it a few hours prior (that's why my rule now is, benzos after drinking if at all :)). For the sake of harm reduction, I'd probably just take the alcohol intake slowly and keep monitoring your stability and breathing. But you'd be fine.

As for morphine + valium + alcohol. If you take the morphine orally, you probably wont even feel it. Except a mild uneasy feeling having it mixed with the alcohol. Mild at best though. But that combo wouldn't be more dangerous than the percocets combo (assuming you dont IV the morphine). I always like coupling morphine with benzos (without alcohol, however).

Alcohol with opiates, for me anyway, increases the nausea.

It's never wise to combine downers but at these doses you're fine. IMO. I've done way worse and lived.

Thanks a lot. That helps, really. I took a lortab last night with morphine (15MG) and the most I felt of it of it was a sense of calm and the heavy breathing, but kept myself awake long enough for the heavy breathing to subside before I went to sleep.

And yeah, the morphine would be taken orally. But I've read about inhaling it, taking off the coating, have any thoughts about that, especially since it is such a small amount? Rather than the percocet, maybe the morphine would be a better option?

I've never inhaled morphine but I was doing some looking into it as well. Last night actually haha. But ended up popping 60mg after 7 beers.

Morphine would probably be the better option. Acetaminophen with alcohol is something that personally bothers me. I'm OCD about it (as well as NSAIDs with alcohol, ulcers!) haha. If you're lucky the diazepam and alcohol would potentiate the morphine well. But 15mg isnt a particularly high dose keep in mind.

You would feel more from the percs. But it's probably not safest. If the alcohol wasnt in the equation then that sounds like some good fun.

Good luck

Good to know. I'm only 105 lbs. and so large doses make me feel a bit uneasy for my size and experience. I think the morphine will be my best bet. Thanks a lot for the info, really. I might owe my life to you....

2g of paracetamol while also drinking is quite unhealthy for your liver. Unlikely to cause a life-threatening situation in an individual that doesn't already have complications with his / her liver, but still not something to be advised.

I personally find morphine quite lackluster when taken orally, from a recreational standpoint. The hydrocodone would do better, in my opinion. However with just 4 pills, doing a CWE would be a bit wasteful in my opinion. If you're comfortable with it, I would either insufflate or plug the morphine (or morphine solution) for better effects.

As always, the following issues are in regards to respiratory depression. Keep all doses sane, and you shouldn't run into any issues.

I also tend to find that a night of drinking while on opiates just results in me vomiting the next morning, but of course, YMMV. Have fun, and be safe! :)
