I was wondering if there are any peptides or growth hormones that will help with lower back problems? My lower lumbar L5 is "thinned out" that's what the doc says whatever the fuck that means. And I also have scoliosis but every now and again even if I have perfect form and I'm lifting light I get a spasm and usually have to be out for a week, sometimes longer depending on the severity. I was just wondering if there are any peptides that will help with healing. Something I can add to my trt. Whether oral or something that I have to pin.. let me know if there is something I can take that'll help me heal quick! These doctors don't even prescribe pain meds for crying out loud and I hate being out of the gym! Shit sucks!

^^ This site has a list of peptides.. so out of that list which peptide would best help me with recovery for my lower back and if I'm adding it to my trt which one would help with putting on some size. And what size needle do I need to pin with and can I pin my quads or where would I need to pin these peptides?

Someone please help asap man!

Honestly for a serious condition like yours, I don't think peptides will help or HGH.

Yeah the ER doc prescribed me prednisone. I've taken that before and it didn't do much =/ but I'll fill the script anyways because I have no other options. I don't know anybody that sells narcotic pain killers otherwise I'd just go that route! It's not like I have an addictive personality.. at last not for opiates I don't!

Try lower back strength and flexibility exercises..

Will do! I have prednisone prescribed for 5 days but you know it's practically useless because I've taken it before.. but I have no other options besides that and rest and icing it. Cheers!

Don't rest, keep your back mobile with plenty of stretch/flexibility work...

Famous last words. I'm not gonna harrow on about it because there are worse drugs to be addicted to, but opioids won't do anything but mask the pain and end up making the injury worse since you'll be dulling crucial signals that tell you what's up. Some fag on here a while ago was recommending kratom as an alternative, but I wouldn't mess with that either if I was you.

I'd look into doing some foam rolling and very slow and controlled hyperextentions. Also hip flexor stretches as your problem may very well be made worse due to a muscular imbalance in your posterior chain.

Yeah I've been doing light work outs at home and staying active. Been icing my back every couple hours for 10-15 minutes and if I feel a little bit better tomorrow pain wise.. I'll do my inversion table for 5-10 minutes. I have 3 more days left of the prednisone.. I know it won't do much but hopefully my primary doctor will prescribe me something better for the pain on tuesday. He'll probably prescribe Tramadol if I'm lucky. I don't see the problem with 10-20 vicodins. I don't care for opiates. I've always been a amphetamine/methamphetamine kind of guy anyways but I understand they're only watching their ass and there's way too many fucking junkies in this world =/ oh well!

Yeah I know where you're coming from bro! Because if I did end up getting some vicodin or percs.. they don't necessarily make me "feel good" or "buzzed" but they help me function and give me a bit more energy and I don't want to rush back into the gym and think I'm not in that much pain and overworking my body and then fucking up my back some more! I get it man! I'm better off!
