I've only ever plugged MDMA, and I did notice a difference, but I was taking up to 15 a night and needed something to stop breaking into my profits.

If I ever get back on opiates or benzos I'd definitely consider plugging, though.

I just don't understand this stigma. Just because you plug doesn't mean that there is something wrong with you. If you are going to take a drug, why not get the full effects?

Hmmm I was going to answer the poll but I couldn't find a suitable answer. My answer would be, "I've thought about learning enough about it to make a decision, but at this point I don't know enough to answer yes or no."

I just don't know much about the IV and plugging bioavailability comparisons, intensity, onset, ect. of my favorite drugs among other things. If I found that it might be an enjoyable or even a better experience than the way I currently administer substances than of course I would do it. Just because it involves my ass doesn't mean I wouldn't do it though. If I can stick a needle through my skin and into a vein and push a liquid street-quality impure heroin directly into my bloodstream, than whats a little rectal administration to me? Personally I think discounting it just because of a stigma is kind of ignorant in my opinion. I prefer to discount something only if I know enough about the subject to do so, with facts.

I've never done it, but I'm certainly not opposed to the idea - it's just a different set of mucous membranes through which to absorb things. I don't see any stigma to it or anything "gay" - everyone has an asshole, and there's nothing "gay" about putting anything up there (as long as it's not a cock). I'll do it just as soon as I find a drug I like enough to stick up my ass and feel comfortable with taking it that way. I'd do it with 2C-I, but the stuff I've got is fairly impure (it takes me about 40mg orally for a decent trip) and I'm just afraid of what the unknown impurities might do to me if I plug *those*. In theory, though, it should still be safer than insufflation, since plugged substances still go through the hepatic portal vein, giving the liver the first crack at them before they reach the rest of the body.

I've always thought about trying it as pills don't seem to work on me like they used to and i'm not really one to do pills all the time so i can't work out why my tolerance seems to be so high but never was really sure as to how you do it properly so excuse me for the dumb question - but your not supposed to shove the whole pill up there are you? You have to crush it and put it in a cap or tissue yeah?

I'd rather there where an option on the poll that you would consider it in the future, rather than having any set plans. I suppose I don't have anything against it, I don't consider my arse quite so sacred as some seem to. It just seems to me that there's not really enough reason for me to want to do this. My two cents...

I have plugged more than a dozen times. I find MDMA pills make me very nauseous –the initial impact on my stomach is quite harsh and the come-up always makes me feel ill unless they are ridiculously weak pills (taken in halves). I find the slower come up that occurs with plugging is much easier to handle and provides a smoother rush that lasts longer.

However, that said I have overdosed by plugging MDMA pills. The amount I took was small and not more than what I had taken before of the same pills but for some reason they just disagreed with me one night. The disadvantage of plugging is that your body cannot reject the pill although I threw up for about three hours straight so mine was certainly trying its best. The nurses in the emergency room didn’t know what ‘plugging’ was – when I explained it to them they had a chuckle… and I don’t blame them!

I've plugged quite a bit, but the saying "once you try it, you never go back" is false. I've found that plugging is rather unpredictable... sometimes it actually slows absorption & prolongs the high for an ungodly length of time rather than speeding absorption. Occasionally it has little/no effect. Sometimes it hits as fast as mainlining. It's just not very predictable. Lately I've gone back to oral dosing, more often than not.

P.S. idjits, stop pushing pills up your bum. Dissolve 'em in water, inject the liquid with a syringe! Is this so hard to understand... 8)
