People that discovered the rave scene later in life, how do you meet people?

I'm 27 and still fairly new, and the scene in northern florida is really slacking, but I didnt have much trouble when I was in AZ finding raves because I knew people. but here im constantly trying to meet people to no avail. im thinking of just getting a little group of people together when i start school, just talking to people and (posting flyers if necessary) seeing where it goes from there.

and personally i dont think there's an age limit. you like what you like, if you get turned on to it when you're 18 or 38 who cares, as you age your taste changes and different things come to light. personally i didn't like edm until i was well into my rolling and a little smarter about it. so i say whatever helps you get your jollies off....unless its unprotected sex with multiple partners....that shit'll stick with you
