Especially when it comes to combining CNS depressants. For instance, I read an archive post of a guy planning on mixing 40mg of diazepam with 6 full strength beers. He asked if it was safe. He also stated that he has a strong tolerance to benzos, so much so that it takes him over 150mg to really feel anything from diazepam. Everyone on the board condemned his idea. Saying he "won't wake up to tell the tale". Bullshit. I know this is a harm-reduction site, but with a heavy benzo tolerance and 6 beers in conjunction with it, it's not going to cause him to fatally OD.

I myself have a huge Benzo tolerance. I need AT LEAST 180mg of diazepam to feel its effects (happens when you've been prescribed it for the last 2.5 years). Anyway, I often take 100mg of diazepam and finish a 6-pack of Coronas and don't even black out from it.

Why am I writing this? I guess it's just to highlight the fact that members on these boards are overly cautious when recommending drug use/combinations to others. After all, people want to enjoy their drug experience, and it doesn't help when you have some overly safety conscious person vilifying otherwise safe drug use. /rant.
