Peer review edible idea please.

I think it sounds delicious. Here's something though - those little cakes are made with water. So are you putting the butter on top? Or mixing it in? Replacing water? If you mix/replace it might not come out right. Could come out like sludge or something. I don't know.

when i would make butter i would let it boil for at least an hour, but i would throw 2 ounces in there usually. I made a huge batch of brownies for the last day of my senior year of HS, had about a gram per brownie and i sold 50 of them in the morning and it was hilarious seeing 50 people walking around school blazed out of their minds!! hahahhaha i guess they didnt realize what taking a gram to the dome would do seeing as a lot of the kids who bought them were inexperienced hahaha, funny shit man, anyway, should work, hopefully it tastes good bro.

^ so you can easily strain the particles out which if not done makes it rough to eat. Also it tastes a hell of a lot better and when using butter alone you risk losing some weed if it gets too hot.

you can be done boiling in 45 min.

It'll work but you'll have weak cannabutter. I've tried it at 1 hour and was disappointed. 4 to 5 hours of simmering however made some pretty potent stuff. And I don't think a straight boil is what you really want simmering is the way to go.

my shits never weak.... i dunno. i know 4 to 5 hours is over kill. your extraction will be complete in an hour. everything else is just a waste of time. you are just dissolving THC which is a relatively speedy process.

i have done it both ways and found an hour to be the best for buds, a little longer for trim/leaf.

end of discussion. no greenlighter beezy is gonna tell me otherwise.

Noboru- you dissolve in water and butter, because like dissolves like; so all of the lipid soluble shit goes in the butter, and all the crap that is water soluble goes into the water. then the 2 mixtures separate when they cool leaving thc/butter and crap/water

itll work, i already tried that part.
and yea more like 45mins not 15, but hours seems a little excessive...

I wouldn't do anything less then 4 hours. and I wouldn't use butter. try using cooking oil it has less fat and more oil % to bind to the thc. I feel it is a stronger product in the end.

that makes sense. i made a little kief (maybe 1.5g worth) butter this way yesterday in a tablespoon's worth of butter in about 4 cups of water. i boiled/strongly simmered the mixture for an hour and set the liquid in the fridge. i waited about 3 hours for it to cool and skimmed the solidified butter floating on the water. mixed with milk and frozen mango and ate. i was high from 330pm - sleep.

I find that as long as u've used a coffie grinder to get the herb as ground up as possible then 45mins at a rolling boil (nothing is lost at boil due to the mix with the water) is perfect, more does not seem to improve quality IMO. (I used to cook alot before college).
I was mostly asking about the speed cook brownies, like would the microwave damage THC at all, would it all infuse into the cake mix or would the butter just melt to the bottom, stuff like that.
