Opioids Peeing on Opiates.

Does anyone else have a terrible time trying to pee while on opiates? I mean like a really hard time. Sometimes i will stand in the bathroom over 20 mins with the sink on with my hand in warm water and the other hand shaking my dick back and forth trying to get it to start. But most of the time if I get real fucked up Ill have to wait till the next day and get into the shower and let hot water run right on my penis till I can start. I was just seeing if this is just me or other people experience the same thing, I also was going to see what people did to make the be able to pee easier. Thanks DopeBoy
 
Yeah def a common problem. Sitting down to pee seems to help a lot of people...myself included. Sometimes I've tried for like 45 mins just wiggling my dick trying to get it to start. It's very common,
 
Yea this is very common, just sit down and accept the "shame" of it ;). It helps out a lot...plus standing in one place for that long is tiring anyway.

I usually just pretend I'm taking a dump, take in something to read and smoke a cig. You'll go within 5-10 minutes if you follow that advice...the trick is to take your mind off the deed and just let it happen.

However, I'd take a coffee with that cigarette ;D Squats and similar exercises helps a lot, sex is the best; stimulate muscle activity in the groin area and retain a strong, controllable sphincter muscle. However, exercise and good muscle tone in general is something that the majority of opiate users neglect. So using tricks like above is good advice, pretend to take a shit or ignore dumb social stigmas and sit down like a girl and try piss (more men do it than one would think). However, as above poster mentions, taking the mind off it is also something that helps immensely - half of the pissing problem is psychological. Also ignoring the peeing urge for a while and drinking a lot of water helps. The more bladder pressure, the easier release becomes.

It's a well known fact that opioids can cause urinary retention, it's indicated on the prescribing information pamphlet, or better yet, the monograph is available online just a Google search away, like this question could have been answered! :)
