Peakin' Naturally

U guys r crazy
DRAGON BALL Z
Kaaaaaaaaaaa Meeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy Haaaaaaaaaa
<insert ridiculously bright light and explosion here>
Something about this show gets me up in the morning. I love the fights. I love the fact that people die in and 8:00 morning time slot. I love the stupid stupid humour. But most of all I love the way the creators draw out what should be a half hour cartoon into a weeks worth of episodes and still inject the cartoon with some fantastic emotion.
Also watching these dudes power up into super saiyan is like watching friends drop. They start rushing and flushing and our surrounded by a golden glow, a smile works over the face as their speed and styles increases, these dudes are fukkin sik.

What a great thread :)
I know it's dumb but sometimes cleaning can really do it for me.. a sense of accomplishment is hard to beat! And i'm looking forward to the rush that travel gives me - there are few things mroe exciting than waking up every day knowing you are going to see things you've never seen before and met all kinds of crazy people :)
At my farewell on the weekend I spent the larger part of it under the influence of nothing but a fantastic vibe - being surrounded by friends (and being the centre of attention) is a blast - but I doubt it would be good for the ego if it happened too often ;)
Oh yeah, thanks for the Mars Bars, Muzby, and damn you to hell for the half a box that are still sitting in front of me, beckoning!

I know this might sound a bit wacky.. but i am a wacky. i downloaded all the songs that make me happy a burned them onto a cd, and everytime i am down i jump around singing to songs like..
"build me up butter cup baby just to let me down, and mess me around and then worst of all, u never called baby when u say will, but i love you still...
now i am carried away :) :) :) :)

i listen to a live version of god is a dj by faithless.....
makes everything alright for some reason, atleast while the song is playing

Well obviously music is a big part of everyone's life, for me it's not so much dancing but singing. Ever since I was young the only thing I've ever had to do to make myself feel better is put on some music I know all the words to and sing along at the top of my voice. Coming home from work today was say Green by Alex Lloyd, just about any music can work but for some reason singing along to Radiohead's OK Computer gets me down. Wonder why... :)
Honorable mentions to
- physical intimacy of any kind
- sunshine
- things with small brains like puppys or kids
- being on the recieving end of a knockout smile
:D

or when the lyrics of a track all of a sudden relate personally to your situation and you feel this awesome affinity with the artist. then you realise it applies to everyone, hence why it's such a great song. :)
"everytime i find myself, wrestling with my mental health... i've got to just remember i am one of the peo-ple, one of the peo-ple..." - from krafty kuts slam on the breaks disc one.

for me it is the process of getting into new music that does it for me.. To discover a new album that you cant stop playing or find a new artist you are gonna have to look into because the stuff you've heard so far is awesome.. The enjoyment of the music you are listening to in the moment but also the knowledge that comes alongside it that there is more to listen to and discover in the future :) I know I'll run out before the music ever does ;)
Also, like hoptis said, sunshine. Particularly when you feel its warmth start to glow in your body on a sunny (but not too hot) day.. Also when I close my eyes while facing the sun and see the deep red of blood in my eyelids. The more you look the deeper the red gets..

time for another go round... and yep, people still get me high,
24.gif
my friends

Definitely Wakeboarding. . .All the way. . .

It's the shit! Such a wicked natural high, the single thing that saved me from junkie-dom. . .

Oh, and dancing. . .Dancing to some of my favourite tunes, even alone in the house, can get me naturally peaking so nice. . .

In a word - - - bubbles.
Watching bubbles float through the air puts me on a super high. :) I love them.
Aaaand the colour pink [duh] and some types of Psy Trance really pump me up. =D

ok heres the list...

good music... and im talking ANYTHING that kinda gets ur ears stimulated, and ur brain thinking and ur heart jumping, and god i love music!!! anything from stravinski (sp?) to good psytrance

singing. in front of big audiences to just belting out something in my room to the radio or practising that stupid aria for my exam.. i LOVE to sing!!!!

being on stage in front of people! i love performing!!! nothing gets me more excited than the 5 minute call before a show!!! or standing there on stage withthe lights shining in ur eyes, ur blinded, but u can see the shadowy outlines of the audience in frontof u!

dancing! its been mentioned a lot already. but i love it. dancing all night to awesome music and just shredding the dance floor to bits to whipping on my pointe shoes and some good music and just moving where the music takes me!

and for a bit of variety to skip away from the whole performing arts stuff... getting away into the bush. hiking, climbing, paddling... just getting out there and seeing some of the most bealutiful things and doing it all on ur own steam! there is nothing better than peak bagging!!!! heheh!!!

hmmmm..........

Music, ^^^^ what she said

performing,

Dancing,

Laughing, definitely one of my favourite pastimes

Sitting down after a really long walk is pretty wicked.

Love and all that comes with it, sex, cuddles, staring into each others eyes etc etc.

Indulging in tasty food and drink, especially with good friends (usually coupled with laughter)

Getting things working is a great feeling to me. Fixing things that don't work the way they should, or getting my computers to network and do what I want them to do with my own nutting out. I think funnily enough that cleaning also fits into this category (to bad I'm too lazy to do it most of the time). It's like that simple sense of achievement, standing back, looking at what you've done and going "ah" then relaxing.

Oh yeah, wazza: I don't have any tatts but my piercing definitely gave me a HUGE natural high (yay for endorphins and adrenaline)

There's heaps more to add but you know (can be botheredness just isn't there at the moment)

Travel - I love having a huge adventure planned and the feeling of apprehension and excitement that builds just before you go. So far I have backpacked England, Ireland Holland and Germany. Leaving for Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in 3 weeks...then after that I am going on a snowboarding adventure with some mates over the other side of Australia :). The people that you meet...the sights that you see.. Oh I love it. It is what living is all about.

The feeling I get after a solid workout at the gym (yeah I am a gymrat...)

Reading a really really good book.

Being with a awesome girl. I will just quote ^^smokin' jo^^ on that one because he summed it up nicely.

"Love and all that comes with it, sex, cuddles, staring into each others eyes etc etc. "

I dont know...Generally I have a really good outlook on life and I only drop a pill overy 4 or 5 months, so I get the best of both worlds :)

When my son tells me how much he loves me and have arguments with me to try and prove that he loves me more than i love him...that makes me high =D

Psytrance and doofs alone get me high =D

Smiles make me high =D

there are alot of little things that are not drug related that get me "high" :)

things that make me naturally "high"

- good food
- a beautiful sunny day
- an intelligent conversation
- completing a task / goal
- buying something i want
- a party or a celebration
- being in love (this is just like being on MDMA, except no comedown)
(by being in love i mean the initial feeling, so unbelievable!!!)
- the things that go along with a loving relationship
- music!!!!!
- exercise (my pupils actually dialate after a good workout)

just as a side, the greatest moment of my life from a "high" point of view so far was the millennium and i was totally drug-free for that, i have never felt such a rush or a feeling of happiness compared to that moment. also i have peaked from meditation, so drugs aren't at all neccessary for the feeling they provide. but for me they did unlock a part of my brain that needed to be unlocked.

Cohaa.
