peak forever?

Nah. One night I ended up rolling for 10 or 12 hours and by the end of it I just wanted it to be over and let me go back to normal. It's like asking if you want the world to be perfect- everyone looks the same, gets along, knows everything, no one has to work or worry or anything...humans need something to work towards, living without having to make any effort to get what you want (like happiness) is boring and pointless!

Remember, it's the journey that's the real reward :)

I don't think depression is a "monotone" state, I'm sure depressed people have their own ups and downs (in some cases more extreme, manic depression for example), but I do take your point...
 
look at a picture of a mountain. on each side of the peak, there is a distinct decline or incline depending on where you started.

staying on top of that mountain for too long would lost it's novelty very quickly.
 
Even if you could feel that feeling every moment of your life, how would you deal with realities of life? How would you deal the all the assholes that inhabit this world? How would you make money? I am all about empathy and kindness, but most people in this world simply do not deserve this empathy and kindness. :/
 
Granted I could sleep and had infinite serotonin, sure I would love to peak on mdma forever.

the novelty might wear off pretty quick but I'd imagine quality of life would increase dramaticly.
 
Only the Sith deal in absolutes. I wouldn't because then it would take me quite some time to get the full range of my emotions back wouldn't it. Without the inherent duality of emotions and life things would cease to be anything meaningful. Without the lows the highs would be pointless.

This I kind of have to disagree with. It doesn't help anyone to withhold empathy and kindness from even the worst of society.
 
This is such a stupid question.. just like the one with if mdma had no negative or harmful effects would you take it daily? What kind of e-tarded questions are these, honestly. Of course i would... or who ever would. Whats the down side to having something that gives you complete bliss when you swallow it? I mean this is something you might want to imagine and have fun with, but making a thread about it.. come on.
 
I would if there was another pill to drop me back to a sober level for whenever needed.
 
I always thought an "MDMA" button would be sick. Whenever you press it, you start rolling hard as hell. And there's no side effects. Your serotonin goes back to normal right after, along with everything else in your body. You can turn it on or off whenever you please.

The world would be sick...but nothing would get accomplished lol.
