Sitting in the hall
Assaulted by the world
I close my eyes to escape
But the voices continue
Jabbering, Gossiping
Voices grating and tongues dripping poison
I cant stand it
Then the drums start
And I begin to relax
But I can still hear the voices
Between the beats
In comes the synth
Distorting everything
In this jagged universe
Behind my eyelids
Making it all bubble and roil
And driving every other concern from my mind
And then that voice
The voice that speaks
Of all things dark and disturbed
To the acompniment of what could be
A guitar or maybe a chainsaw
Its kinda hard to tell.
And with the familiar sounds
Of anger and depression
Ringing in my ears
I can finally have peace
"And doesnt it make you feel better
The pigs have won tonight
Now they can all sleep soundly
And everything is alright"

The peace that is only to be found amid chaos... wonderful dear!! You have a way of turning violence and fear into beautiful imagery - a rare gift.
