Any of you guys into philosophy or taken philosophy courses? Im doing a philosophy of science test that needs to be 6 pages and right now im reading some Hume and I swear no one taught these philosophers how to use commas. Here's an excerpt from Hume's Enquiry concerning Human Understanding: "And though none but a fool or madman will ever pretend to dispute the authority of experience, or to reject that great guide of human life; it may surely be allowed a philosopher to have so much curiosity at least, as to examine the principle of human nature, which gives this mighty authority to experience, and makes us draw advantage from that similarity, which nature has placed among different objects."

I mean really man...you dont need to separate phrases just so that you can not use a period. Am i right? its overkill and makes it a lot harder to read :p and literally every other sentence, AT LEAST, is like that

I use do drink those things alot Roger and the 5 hour energy ones

those things get me so wired and sketch , I use to drink a few before work after pulling all nighters
 
when i was studying for summer finals a couple years ago i drank two of those 5 hr shots, ate a pack of cosmic brownies, and two regular rockstar energy drinks. i was shaking with energy lol...but i got As :)

I try and stay away from those types of beverages.. Though every now and then I have myself a RedBull. Not cause I was tired, but because I like the taste lol
 
fuck. just registered for school for the first time in years. school is even more expensive than it used to be. and this is a junior college. =(

i've only registered 3 classes so far and i'll already be spending over $1000 before having to spend as much on books.

i love how i didnt qualify for any grant money because my AGI on last year's tax return was so high. it's bollocks. yeah, i had a good paying job.... but then i got laid off and i haven't worked in over a year ever since. ugh.

only options i have now are student loans. all i hear are horror stories about them. i've been offered Stafford loans and really need to consider my options if i am going to finish school up this time.

anyone have any experience/stories about student loans?

Yea I think that was the first and last time i drank rockstar or 5 hr energy shots. I'm not a fan of excess energy either, and I really despise the taste. I don't know how anyone enjoys a monster. It tastes like carbonated liquid cotton candy with a chemical after-taste. Not for me :| How's that UrkleWreck treatin u? soo jealous. I currently have no plant matter to ignite and inhale

School is ridiculously expensive nowadays. I have student loans, but I havent paid yet bc im deferred until after im out. I think stafford is the way to go if you can get them, but I have no idea. I wasn't offered any financial aid or anything from the gov't. After filling out FAFSA the report came back Expected Family Contribution: 99999 which was code for "ur fucked" iirc :p

It's nice. My bestfriend grew it outdoors in Humbolt. I love it when he comes to visit =D=D

I'm excited for tomorrow. I love it when tomorrow's are something to look forward to. Almost that same feeling as the night before Christmas as a young'in. :)
 
me too laika! tomorrow is my last day of work at the job im doing right now.. i like the job but it is pretty far from where i'm living and the commute is starting to get to me.. and im also quitting because im moving in a month

but i am looking forward to not working for a little bit and tomorrow i'll celebrate with some mdma
