I always feel more tense in the states. Like I'm being watched more and there's more reason for me to watch my back. That's crazy about the grocery store madness. That would never happen here. Once in a while you'll hear over the intercom "Loss prevention on aisle four" and the people will confront the suspect but they don't tackle them to the ground or anything. If the person ran they might grab them but they wouldn't beat the shit out of them.

Call me crazy, but whenever I come home I always feel a calm comfort after I get through customs and am back on home soil. Like there's a little bit less to worry about.

I just wish we could have a week in the middle of winter where it went up to 25C. :D

It's good that you realize it. It helps if you cut down on the drugs and wake up sometime before 9am. It gets one motivated to get out there and do stuff.
