PD Socializing: Where you pop psilocin for headaches and freaky meets cheeky

its kind of a strange question right? Its the first homework kind of thing for this philosophy class...I feel as if there would be no difference..a pointless kind of distinction

That is because you can conceptualize for 1000 years but it still wouldn't change the way the world functions.
Something can only happen by interaction, that is to say that you throw in a question or cause and go observe for answers and effects.
And even then, any sort of subjective truth has to be hold to some context or else it becomes non-sensical.

According to Bickford Schmeckler (- lol):
“Nothing can ever be truly, fully understood. Not even the simplest thing. Not even this.”

I believe taoism is infatuated with the idea...

Swilow, the liars paradox is an example of a statement that does not follow the law of excluded middle.
It is neither true nor false.

I love that thing from Weeds: "Nothing is exactly as it seems. Nor is it otherwise" <3

Ok off to bed for me...
Who says dinner at 2 am and naptime at 5.30 is strange?

My grandparents rarley eat dinner before midnight....

Whenever we have gone over for dinner in the past its one of those things you have to go and eat dinner at 6pm somewhere else and then have a 4th meal of sorts with them.... Food is always home cooked goodness though, not many people fire up the grill at midnight though....

Congrats uniter and Solipsys! :)

So how's everyone doing? I've been really busy but good. My dad surprised us one morning late last week with a phone call... turns out he was on a business trip and he was only like 3 hours from my house, so he came for the evening and we went out to dinner at this cool Mediterranean place we've been wanting to try. I think he's coming again this week or next, too. I only get to see my family like once or twice a year now so it was great to see him randomly.

Although they love where I live now and are trying to find excuses to come visit for all 4 seasons. :)

What's going on PD? Haven't been around these parts for a couple months, spent this summer working and seeing Phish. Just thought I would stop in and say hello now that I'm back up at school and have constant internet access. It's nice to take a break from the online world, unplugging for a couple months, but glad to have it back now.

Hey OrneTTe, glad to see you back. :)

I have heard anecdotal reports of Aleph 1 floating around.....never thought to get any though, descriptions sounded bland (something DOT...?)

Yep, I found a bit of aleph-1 (DOT). I find it a bit weird, but I only tried it once at 3.5 mg and it seemed like an underdose. I love the feel of most DOXs, however - they're my favorite class of drugs - and this felt a bit weird and alien in my body. I didn't entirely like it, but I should try it again at a higher dose to solidify my opinion. The only thing is, my sample is in alcohol, and it's turned yellowy-orange and looks pretty nasty (not moldy or anything, but just weird).

I also agree that the DOx class has potential to be very much enjoyable....

The duration can just make it seem like a mental and phsyical endurance test....

Its one of those drugs that if you can find something amusing to do, kill some time because you have plenty of it, you can color for 5 hours and not be like "well that trip was pointless with the exception of this crazy mix of colors i created" because you still have another 15 hours of tripping....

Yeah, that's what I love about them... they're so unhurried and slow to develop, with time to do anything and everything. And if you get the dose right, on the low side, the state (especially with DOM and DOC) can feel so amazingly nice that it's not an endurance test at all... at least for me, it feels very natural and good, like I want it to last forever.

A friend just gave me some moclobemide so that I can try oral DMT soon in the future.

What was the proper dosage, 300mg?

Oh and I was going to try IV etaqualone but I found out the stuff doesn't dissolve in water :x

I would have to dissolve it in ethanol and then dilute it down until it's tolerable enough to shoot... which means I'd need a big ass syringe :xx

"This sentence is untrue".

Hmm. See, the sentence isn't actually stating anything whatsoever other than its own truth (or lack thereof), so really it can't possibly HAVE any truth or untruth to it. It's the equivalent of "Nothing is untrue."

Anyhow sounds like you had a pretty awesome blastoff there swilow. :) Always inspiring to hear of cool experiences.

Dunno if I agree with the philosophy of, as it is commonly said "hanging up the phone once you get the message". The message is easily forgotten, in fact truthfully it's instantly forgotten, at least to a degree, upon comedown. Plus, the psychedelic experience is very gratifying in the short term too (read: it's a lot of fun), hence a somewhat regular psychedelic regimen greatly improves quality of life IME. However if tripping stops being beneficial you'll know it, and at that point of course it would be the most healthy choice to end your psychedelic career, or take a long hiatus.

Holy hell. *cough, cough* can barely breathe in here. Had an empty paint can full of shredded paper napkins slow-cookin' on the stovetop, and the kitchen fume hood broke during the process. Now the whole damn house is full of hellish burnt paper fumes.

This was to make charcoal to be used in black powder, for any of you that have ever experimented with firework compositions.

I tend to think that after using strong psychedelics for an extended period DOES imprint on the subconcious, which feeds into the concious mind. The lessons might never be possible to communicate, but they can be lived.

"Is it possible to use language to undo the hallucinations created by language?"- Robert Anton Wilson. Food for though....:)

I mean, I'll defintely still trip- but my focus is swiftly turning to the "next phase", which for me is occultism. It just seems and feels like a natural progression. I feel that mushrooms, DMT, LSD and cannabis will be my good friends for life; my interst in aqcuiring other chemicals is waning. It seems mother earth provided an abundance of them, and for some definite reason- elevating the human-beast. Or, as you say, for fun :):) Which is elevation in its own way.

Meh, work is boring, so I CWE'd some codeine; about 200mg's. Feelin nice, but restless....

G' Morning, residents of swirlsville. :)

2C-I last night was delicious. Had to double-check the bag and make sure I hadn't picked up the 2C-D, it felt crystal clear, feather light, and deeply sensuous; not what I usually associate with 2C-I.

I was just looking for a way to spice up the evening, but I ended up having a very warm and restorative experience. Felt good, man. :D

Good morning Roger :)

Glad you had a good trip. I'm planning to partake in some of that material myself tomorrow night. :)

My sister's dog is staying with us for another few days. He's so young and full of energy; he's a year old. He loves being taken for walks, but it's more like he walks me. :\

When I left him this morning he was not a happy camper. He's very affectionate and loves people, when you leave him he really starts crying :(

Its been a little more than 2 weeks of sobriety....

Its been a while since i have gone this long without any drugs.....

I think trying to answer any question at all in my philosophy class is gonna require too much time for me
