I just take the plunger out of a large syringe, insert a small square of toilet paper 4-folded to cover the hole, add pill powder, add ~1mL of water per pill, put the plunger back on and squeeze it through into a cup. Then I add a little bit more water to the cup and slug it down.
In the future I'm going to try using ice water and only keep the leading 2mL. I've read most of the codeine comes out in the front of the stream and that as more water goes through it, it picks up more caffeine and aspirin.

Yep, that would be the initial CWE. If you wanted to have pure codeine and pure caffeine, dry out the solution and take the resulting powder and wash it again in a solvent that codeine is soluble in and caffeine isn't...or vice versa. 
Off the top of my head you could use ether I suppose. Caffeine is only very slightly soluble in ether.

Yeah ice water may be the way to go. It will limit the solubility of the caffeine, and I've read that codeine phosphate's solubility will actually increase as the temp of the water goes down, which is the opposite of practially all organic compounds. I dont know whether it's true or not though.

Weird, I don't find the taste of codeine bad at all, and I usually take around 400mg.....48mg would not do anything to me. I wish I was sensitive
There was a BL mod who used to etract about a gram; he gulped it down vomited it up, filtered the vomit, and re-drank. Now THAT is nasty (I hope he reads this :D)
Now, zopiclone- NEVER taste that if you cxan avoid it....Makes cactus seem sweet in comparison. Actually- I don't find San Pedro to be all that bad....I guess cos I smoke cigarettes, my taste is fucked up. One good thing about the damn shits

I think I'll lay off the pot today, been smoking way too much lately. Yesterday I was hitting bowls all day, and it was just making me feel lazy and stupid. No real "high" to speak of. This is good pot, too, I should be getting blitzed.....I guess I just really need a break.

The focus of this thread seems to be degenerating. Codeine ... boo. Psychs ... yay! 
I had an absolutely wonderful trip on a mountaintop in one of the most beautiful state parks on the east coast. After running maniacally through a drenching rain, the clouds cleared, leaving the clearest night sky I've ever witnessed ... crystal clear Milky Way electrified with remnants of the Perseid's meteor shower. All in all, a spectacular night.
P.S. No this park is not on the east coast, but it's stunningly beautiful, and I will be here in 4 months. :D

Man, 8 of these pills (64mg) is pretty much as high as I can go without getting nausea. I sometimes just take 2 pills unextracted and will actually get a little comfortable buzz off of it. That's 16mg of codeine, and I feel that! :D
I guess I'm lucky. I'm really sensitive to everything. I have to watch my phenibut intake. Lately I've been taking it friday, saturday and sunday and when I don't take any on monday I feel like shit. I'll be a bit grumpy, tired and have general aches in my body.

Pish-posh! Opiates have their place. It's nice to relax every once in a while. Call BS on me or call me crazy but I find opiates have their own brand of mind manifesting (psychedelic) quality if they're not used chronically. I find it helps just relax and let my anxieties turn off for a few hours. This break from the usual mind chatter allows me to see truth in some aspects.
So Codeine Yay! (in moderation), Psychs Yay! (in moderation) :D
Awesome pic BTW, looks like a nice place to visit. I don't know if I was seeing remnants of the meteor shower on my saturday night trip or not. There weren't constant shooting stars but there was a few and one of them was really bright and long lasting. It happened right above me and ripped straight across the sky. I didn't actually see the meteor shower on the night is was supposed to happen though.

I have fond memories of white poppies.
There's a poppy grower I used to know, who had thru selective breeding developed this really potent white poppy... I remember trying a pint of pod tea made from it, and it floored me even though I was on suboxone.

I used to live near that one. Or one very similar. There's another field nearby that grows hemp. Quite a sight but gave a fair few folks a banging headache before they could accept that there really is a difference between hemp and cannabis :D
