Yeah man I wouldn't dwell too much on it, unless she's like 14 or something :D
Also I think kids are sometimes like pets, in that they can sense deeper undercurrents in your state of mind, without you or them realising it - i.e. a dog or cat might come and sit on your lap and be more affectionate when you're depressed, even if you aren't (or don't think you are) showing it.
Maybe you've had something on your mind or some sort of a change in your life that the kid doesn't know about, but can still sense a 'difference' within you. It might not be a bad 'something different' but to a young person any change within a person can be 'bad', i.e. stranger danger
