Hey psood! I had been wondering where you had gone to, hadn't seen you post in a little while! Sounds like a nice experience! Am I understanding corrrectly that your girlfriend doesn't know about your psychedelic activities? I did that for years... it ended badly, finally.
She knows. I've told her that I use lots of different psychedelics, ketamine, and the like, and I've tripped around her. She also knows that I have an undisclosed online alter ego(s). She insists she doesn't have a problem with the drug use as long as it's under control, and that seems to be the case (and I've never had a serious drug problem, though no doubt some experiments of mine could be described as "risky.") But she doesn't partake, except for the occasional cannabis toke, and she doesn't inquire at all (unlike me, she's professionally successful in her field of choice [I don't
really have one -- and frustratingly there's really not much of a market for professional drug reporting]). Because of this, despite what she says, I don't believe she's entirely comfortable with the situation, so I spare her the awareness of just how frequently I'm "altered," and just how exotic the drugs are. She can only reliably tell if I've smoked pot, which I rarely do, otherwise she just thinks I'm sober, or maybe tipsy from some drinks, unless of course circumstances force a confession from me ("could you drop me off somewhere?" etc.), which she is justifiably frustrated by on occassion. Yet she doesn't ask me to be more forthright with her after such instances, so I'm pretty sure she's most happy with a don't ask don't tell policy, within reasonable limits, and so that's what I stick to.
Psood- always a pleasure, love your accounts of all, but especially odd disso combos :D was wondering what your take was on the 'phenidines....curious I am...but wary all the same..
My life philosophy obligates me to try out anything that might afford a substantially unique perspective on consciousness so long as human test reports don't indicate any clearly worrisome short term consequences to using doses higher than I plan to use, but I am wary of the "-phenidines." I've read they're related to dizocilpine, and chronic administration of that drug has reportedly led to neurological changes in rodents similar to those observed in schizophrenia, so I'd say they're a "once every few months" sort of drug class at best.
