Jobs are scarce unless you feel like working in the service industry. The town is growing though with a few big corporations setting up shop which should bring more jobs. And Asheville has a lower unemployment rate than the rest of the state. But there still isn't that many jobs because I think NC is 5th highest in unemployment.

there has to be more jobs there than there are here in my little corner of rural michigan. i am struggling to even find a minimum wage job. its pretty bad when there's so many people looking for work that even walmart can afford to be picky about who they hire.

Guys guys guys I'm back :D

Had to take a break, throw away my whole stash, and get myself clear of drugs for a little while because quite honestly despite what I said here I was undergoing a little depression last year and I let it take over me and make me very self-destructive, I really did love a lot of the year but I was very careless with myself and my health, and I realised I couldn't do that to myself or my family any longer. I haven't quit drugs but I did take a nice break and I'll never be letting them take over my life in the way they did before again, it's good to be in control of my life again.

I'm glad to hear that you've moved on. Your combos, and the frequency with which you indulged them, were distressing me back in 2012, especially for someone who was reporting positive life development. Things are going well for me, I mean I'm walking a fine line in terms of keeping it together, but being together at all is a major improvement. :D

4-FA is mentioned under unsafe (without anecdotal reference sources though), with the added comment to check the announcement on top. There it is explained that any drug that has a serotonin releasing component should not be used with MXE or only with great caution (like much lowered doses) as MXE may have serotonin reuptake inhibiting effects. Coincidentally we are just discussing that exact type of drug-drug interaction in the 5-MeO-MiPT thread which should also not be used with serotonin releasers if you want to be responsible.

Apparently while we know MXE binds to the SERT, we don't know for SURE that it blocks it. But if you ask me, it is safe to assume (esp for HR) until we know more.

While 4-FA is an amphetamine, it has the largest serotonergic component of all the non-N-methylated fluoroamphetamines. Meaning that the risk might be less than with say MDMA, but should still be considered.
Meanwhile I don't doubt that people have gotten away with the combo without even checking that, but you know as well as I do that doesn't mean a lot or make it exactly smart.

I would reschedule if I were you. Better safe than sorry dude.

I've have never experienced negative interactions mixing MXE with MDMA, Methylone or 4-mmc. It has always brought back the euphoria of the roll while adding its own psychedelic sparkle.

i even combined it with 6-APB and Ethylone a few times.

still though, better safe than sorry, especially if your body is still getting used to drugs again... you've been diving back in pretty deep pretty quickly it seems, Xorky.

If you check the MXE combo thread, in the warning about serotonin releasers there are 6 anecdotal references that we know of involving adverse reactions. If those are not due to MXE's SRI effects, then what are they caused by? Perhaps unrelated flukes, I guess it could help to compare the symptoms... MDMA may be much worse since it has special effects on the serotonin system - I am not sure if those are also obserbed in 6-APB, IIRC not in methylone, also most likely not with 4-FA.

Didn't want to piss on any parade, you can still have plenty of fun in lots of ways and maybe even waiting until after the peak when most of 4-FA's serotonergic effects seem to slowly fade out and the more ampy stimmy stuff is left, could be enough to avoid risk.

(By the way Delsyd, when you say 'always seemed to bring back' do you mean you never tend to take the MXE on the peak but a bit later? Again, that may matter a lot.)

As for me, I did EPH today and went to the DIY megastore for a pack of broad 3 meter long wooden planks that I will be using to make a nightstand/bookcase I am designing / have designed. I kick scootered it home on my bike, lol
It seems a bit more dirty with after-effects than I remembered it, maybe that is because I quit my remeron script which seemed to work pretty well with some drugs. I should really get that dexedrine.

Solipsis, I was only ever planning to take it later on on the come-down when I still feel a bit but peak is long gone.

Right now I feel light, great, a certain head feeling that feels very fuzzy and wonderful. I got a load of energy (took is 40 minutes ago now) and cleaned all my dishes, I may make some of this time a time for cleaning my house as I have slacked on that in the past week.
