Can I do both? :) Yeah I'll do whatever is needed but my bass playing never sounds like a bass guitar anyway, it really is more of a baritone guitar sound so I say there is room for both...but either way...totally I'll play whatever you guys need.

I think I'm going to write a trip report on my experience last night, it was just so profound and awesome. I don't remember all the details but way more than I do with ketamine. And I remember the core of it which is the important part. I haven't written a TR in years :)
 
i'm down for a musical collaboration, if i can get it to work on my POS netbook. multitrack recording hasn't worked out too well for me in the past on this machine, though.... system lag issues cause the recording to sound all jerky.

You really only would have to worry about being able to record one track at a time. Example: For the sake of sakes let's say the PD band has begun the track, a free form jam is recorded between a drummer and a bass guitarist. That track is then mixed on the fly down to mono, and then the track (drums and bass) is sent over to someone else to lay their guitar part down...the mixed on the fly track (bass and drums) is simply played back and the guitarist plays along while recording their part. Technically, the mixed on the fly track can be uploaded online and played off youtube (for example), or from a CD player...it doesn't matter...whatever will use the least resources on your PC so that your processor only has to focus on recording your guitar part.

The separate parts (in this example) now consist of the bass and drum tracks (which were mixed on-the-fly for the guitarist, but still exist as their separate, unmixed tracks), and the new guitar part. For this example, the guitarist sends their track back to homebase and then all three of these tracks can then be mixed (on the fly) for the next musician to play their part.

Eventually all of these separate tracks, recorded separately, would be mixed together for a finished product.

There are multiple ways of synching these all together and they aren't important right now...but it is easy to do.
 
eh when i say "multitrack" i mean my system can't even handle simultaneously playing a track while recording over it

i.e. i wouldn't be able to play the rhythm track while recording a lead over it, and so wouldn't be able to keep tempo

perhaps i could record to a click and sync it up later

or perhaps shoot the rhythm track over to my ipod and listen along to that while recording... my ipod is currently sort of out of commission, though
 
Recording to a click to synch up later will work just fine...or if other musicians lay down something prior to your part.. burn it to CD, and put the CD in your stereo, play along to that. And then it is easy-peachy to synch it all up in the end.
 
I kinda maybe wanna get in on this but I'm self conscious. I think I would want to play some synthesizer.
 
I can play some groovy riffs and allman/trey/Jerry esque leads on the guitar. Give me a beat/tempo and I'll make something happen

Maybe you can stretch the spring a little from the inside and try to fix that firing problem. K101s are normally great for being able to stand on the button which often makes me never lock it, which is potentially a very bad fire hazard if it were to get stuck for a long period of time.

So there was nothing I could do, changing a karto didnt help. Pressing the button didnt do anything. Battery had almost melted or something, it was really damaged lol. But it didnt work with new battery and new karto either. I ordered a new K101 with some batteries & kartos.. The button was already broken so its cool. Could not have kept that thing even in my pocket without it going on

The new k101 cost 25€.
 
Getting .5 MDMA next week and 6g of weed ahh good times ahead.. Havent rolled in 2 months, would be time soon :) I'd like to candyflip tho so need to get perfect set & settings.. can't wait :)

Tomorrow going to chill at my brothers place to enjoy some good red wine and smoking weed from his new vaporizer. Finally I'll have 2 days free weekend and not working, feels great!! Saturday will be MXE day!

Nice, thats a pretty good price for a K101. I just asked because I've seen new people get royally ripped off and paying $100 dollars for one, lol. Make sure you spin that bad boy locked whenever you're not using it. You should get a Kanger Protank for it instead of cartos. You can rebuild the atomizers really easily.

Ah, my fellow PDers are ecigar users like me. Isn't life heavenly when you vape? I have a Sigelei V3 and a Kanger Tech Protank II sits on top of it. I make my own ejuice and I will never look back. If you smoke cigs, I highly encourage you to try something like what I use...the cheap ecigs never worked for me but this thing is WONDERFUL.
