Congratulations on the gold metal on olympics also!



Its -1C at the moment here where I live. Spring and summer coming very fast :) Cant tell how much I enjoy the short 2-3 month summer in Finland when its dark and cold most of the time. That might very well be the reason why so many people here are depressed. I take 100µg of D-vitamin daily at winter and it seems to be helping.
 
I fucking had my E-cigarette going on for i dont know anywhere between 10-30 minutes. Hope its not broken or the battery is not broken. Smells weird.

Yeah, I stayed up all night to watch it live. :P I knew I wouldn't be able to make it through the day to watch it on replay without being inundated with the score as soon as I turned on the TV or got a message from anyone. Hockey is a big deal here. Bars/pubs got special permission to start serving booze at 5am on Sunday morning for the event. :D Churches were hosting game viewings, with regular service happening afterwards lol

Spring is on it's way here too, days are getting longer. I'm always on a natural high when spring breaks :)
 
Yeah, it feels awesome to go to work in the morning when its so light. So many days when you go to work when its dark, and when you go home from work its dark again. Thats sad :G

I wonder how does it feel to live in places like California or somewhere in Australia
 
I was actually thinking of one thing Canada has a problem with vs. Europe/Scandinavia. Space. One of the main things I love about this country is the vast nature and space we have. The problem that comes with that is fuel consumption for transportation and shipping. The price of gasoline here is going up ($1.30/L at the moment). That part of our lifestyle is getting cumbersome. It costs me $10-15 every time I go to the nearest city (that'll go down when I get a newer car that's more efficient). I know in Europe the cost of gasoline is much more than that, but to pass by 30 million people means going Atlantic to Pacific, in Europe the distances are much smaller.

It's a catch-22, I love the space, I like don't the cost of crossing that space.
 
I don't see how you can do it man. I'm pretty sure I have seasonal affective disorder on top of my other psychiatric problems. When it's cold and dark all the time I seem to morph into a hermit of sorts. It's really gotten the best of me this winter, enough to where I'm considering moving to a part of the US that is warm all year round.

Vitamin D really helps because you get that from the sun and I think everyone living in these latitudes are constantly lacking it. There have been studies about that also. But I have been living like this since I was born so I've got used to it. Doesnt make it easy tho. I think for me the worst thing about winters are that I don't really go out, like at all. Some people who have winter hobbies or do winter sports or something will be good. They do get at least some sunbeam / sun ray (which one is the right word?) even if it isnt sunny.

Man I love that movie and haven't watched it in so long. Tom Cruise really plays the part. Paul Thomas Anderson has a way of pulling the best out of actors. I've been meaning to have my girlfriend watch it for the first time but it's such a long movie, the timing has to be right.

I don't know what kind of set up you have but if the battery was firing for an actual 10-30 minutes the atomizer is going to be dry burning after about 1 minute. Pull on it a few times without firing it, unless it's one of the automatic kind without any buttons. You MAY be able to salvage it, but it sort of sounds unlikely with the way I'm picturing it.
 
^yeah, it really is a great movie. i still think boogie nights is his all-time masterpiece, but magnolia was great.

any of you guys know music theory?

so i have this chord progression: |Am7 - - - |D9 - - - |Dm7/G - - - |C - - G/B|

i'm trying to figure out wat key this is in without having to sit down and write down all the chords for the different keys, which would be a major pain in the ass. i wish there was like a list somewhere of this stuff.

I have one with the button, but I had it standing with the button down. It wouldnt normally go "on" with that kind of position, but its 'broken' so it goes on with little to no pressure to it, so i had it standing from old habit - its more than likely fucked. I hope that it will still work when I change the cartomizer. I did that yesterday lol, hope I got some of them left. But thats for tomorrow..
 
Man, I could probably tell you the key better if I heard it, but I would guess it's in A minor.

Yeah, running through it, A minor runs sound pretty good with it, so that should be what you're looking for.

Is the button on the very bottom of the device or on the side of it? And yeah it will definitely taste good again with a new carto in it.
 
Oh you got a nice set up huh? At least prior to breaking it. You should take a pic of it sometime. Or let me know what the model is called I'm probably familiar with it.

Nice I have a K101 as well. Along with a Provari and a Lavatube. How much did you pay for the K101, did it come in a kit?
Maybe you can stretch the spring a little from the inside and try to fix that firing problem. K101s are normally great for being able to stand on the button which often makes me never lock it, which is potentially a very bad fire hazard if it were to get stuck for a long period of time.

Yeah buddy! Here in western North Carolina it's already warm compared to where you are, it was like 45 degrees F today and it was a chilly day, it was up to 70 for a few days last week. I love Spring SO MUCH, it makes the winter worth it. I have a hard time with winter here because I am not with my family and I live on a north/east face of a mountain, and in a cove where there is an equally tall ridge right across the street, so the sun comes up later and sets earlier. It's very dark here at my house in the winter and it really gets me down. But right about now the Spring feeling starts again and pretty soon the flowers and leaves will come out and the world will be right again :) I already see some buds <3
