yeah, low doses are really uncomfortable, but coming to terms with that discomfort and working through it can lead to a lot of enlightenment

high doses are definitely awe inspiring, like entheo said, but if you overload yourself its hard to bring anything back from the experience that you can integrate with reality.

i am guilty of taking large doses, though. i usually prefer to push the envelope and dose high enough that i forget about my day to day life for awhile. which i suppose can be therapeutic as well, but high doses are much more of a roulette.... sometimes its awesome, other times you come out of it with frostbite... =p

but i think i'm going to go back to just low doses, like i used to do years ago.

That's how I like to play the game of life. I've always been a competitor and sore loser.
Basically I dont know how to practice moderation and I will never do anything unless I can be #1, succeed, and win.

I can never work through that low dose feeling though, I don't have a therapist to lead me through anything and I meditate through contact sports or excerting a large amount of physical energy.

Ive got too much crazy stuck in my noggin' and flowing through my blood to take a dissociative. I'm afraid I'd turn into an automaton and smash stuff or hurt myself/some else.
Psychedelics just make me wanna either 1. Lay down 2. Hike 3. Dance

3-MeO-PCP is awesome when you get the dose just right. but yeah, there is a very thin line between awesome doses and insanity inducing doses.

a few times i combined low doses of 3-MeO-PCP with low doses of DXM. those were the best experiences i had. very manageable mentally... definitely an intense trip but a very controllable mental state.

all i wanted to do was lay there and listen to music and float through my headspace. i had no desire to get up and do crazy shit like i do on higher doses of 3-MeO alone.

Looking at the stars through the trees on a clear night is amazing. When I see trees while tripping I always think about how their leaves are hundreds of mouths for a single creature. Mysterious things those trees..

Baobab trees from Madagascar are some of my favorites.

staghorn sumac is my favorite tree. the berries grow straight up, and the branches are all crazy angles. they look like doctor seuss trees.

they are usually the first trees to turn red in the fall, sometimes turning red as early as august

and they look trippy as hell in the winter

Those trees are pretty gnarly man, I don't think I've ever see one around here though.

The mighty sycamore has always been a favorite of mine. They are enormous and have really cool, white bark.

there's this tree up in traverse city, mi that's called "the hippie tree".... local legend pretty much, popular spot if you want to go take a toke in the woods. lightning hit it a long time ago, and it split in all crazy directions.... then started regrowing. such a weird looking tree. it looks like a sycamore now, but it's not a sycamore.

oh no shit, i found a bunch stuff about that hippie tree on google

not sure if this site allows outside hotlinking, lemme now if its an X and i'll reupload elsewhere:

i dig crepe myrtles mahself

Crepe+Myrtle.jpg

i think we have some of those in michigan, but they grow way smaller due to the climate difference.... they're more of a shrub up here

we don't get many colorful trees in michigan, its mostly all green.

It shows up but it's photoshopped?

?? has a banner on it but the picture of the tree isn't altered.

edit -- more hippie tree

isn't it crazy how it kept growing like that after getting hit by lightning? you can tell it got radially split in several directions, but then it kept growing, albeit pretty mutated =p
