i've got an epiphone les paul gothic with iffy wiring, that also needs to be shaken sometimes =p

i don't like strats btw.... the string spacing is wider, and the neck is a longer scale.... they just feel clunky to me
 
Nice man! I've got an EB-0 which is short scale/SG body/single humbucker and a mid range fender combo and my guitar is an American Strat in mint green, but I don't have an amp for it anymore.

I just need to do some work on the wiring and I'll be back in action. A new set of string wouldn't hurt either. It was give me a chance to check out the tension on the truss rod.

i'm so happy somebody else remembers those things too. they were strong as shit, clean, and they were everywhere. that definitely was the summer of love. i saw more acid that summer and the following summer than i could even imagine seeing again. magical time.

this is a valid concern. the tone on the fender deluxe is just so incredible though, especially for the price.
 
Yeah it's what I use in a pinch, but it would be nice to get a little more crunch out of it ya know? My amp is nice and silky, not too much pop on it unless I really turn the treble up and I don't like to push it too much.

I wish my crybaby still worked, wah-wah is so simple but amazing.

@Help and Roger l- are you guys talking about those fat ass amber window pain hits circa 08ish? If so I definitely remember those bad boys.
 
Hell yeah count your blessings you tasted the greatness. Used to buy atleast a half sheet at a time if not more because their probably easiest and best CID I've tasted .

Right? I loved taking five and really getting out there. Their what I compare all my hits too , what would you estimate them at Rog, 125-150 ugs
 
I remember those amber gels but I was getting amazing deals on WOW 50 per sheet. I'll miss those days. I won't forget the memories of 10 strips on the tongue.

awww yeah

they tasted kinda like lemon, and had about 175ug in them. one night i took 5 of them and listened to this... and i was staring out my window at the stars, and all of a sudden i was floating in the middle of space and i floated out there, zooming around and riding on top of jerry's guitar notes, for about 6 hours straight with that show on repeat :D i couldn't see anything but pulsating, dripping psychedelia with my eyes open so i just closed my eyes and went with it.

smoked some blueberry on the comedown and it actually tasted like blueberries for once too. it was a beautiful night.

i'm lol'ing at how we were all eating the same batch of acid back then.
 
i'm so out of touch with the scene now, i wouldn't even know where to start anymore. plus i think the nbome's kinda killed the acid market, i'd be way too sketched out to eat some random blotter nowadays.

back in the day i never got fake acid one time, tho. and trust me i did my fair share of acid, lol

this is truth

i saw a website that did a study on street acid, and the majority of the blotter that they found was nbome

i wish i still had that link. anyone remember what i'm talking about?

it was my impression that rothbury in '09 was the crest of that wave. everything that had been building up over the previous few years came together perfectly for one weekend and then it all fell apart and changed immediately after that, in a freaky kinda way. that kid got killed at gathering of the vibes, nitrous mob took over the festival scene hardcore, all the good acid dried up. that's when i just exited stage left.

that was definitely the best weekend of my life though, it was my woodstock for sure.
 
Oh man I can't believe you only tasted LSD three time TNW. It's the most special chemical in all of psychedelia as far as I'm concerned.
Shit, I'll always look back on the days of eating 10 strips like it was nothing. One of my fondest memories ever was seeing crystal being weighed out and put into liquid then being puddled. Talk about frying 8D

If I were to run into blotter now says I would definitely swallow em whole so as to avoid N-Benzyl'ing myself.
 
i got puddled without even intending to at down on the farm festival in fall of '06. i shared a jay with this rando dude before aquarium rescue unit played (i had never heard of them), and he was like "here bro, hold out your hand... you're gonna need this" and he squirted about 20 hits into my palm from a sweet breath bottle and i just licked it and immediately, like 30 seconds later, felt totally metallic like my blood was made of mercury, and by the time ARU came on about 15 minutes later i was tripping my nuts off. And colonel bruce absolutely wrecked that show in old school ARU fashion... i was totally perma-grinned and like my god man wtf am i hearing, is he doing this on purpose? does he know how cool this sounds? every note was hypnotizing me and pulling me into a transdimensional vortex.

lol good times, i think that was my first festival actually

It's times like those that you'll always remember. Like just melting into the universe when you didn't even plan it is the best.

First time I ever saw bassnectar I had blown a ton of MDA and 4-MMC and friend traded me a bit and put the liquid on a piece of gum and it's wrapper until it was dripping. I was so fucked, I felt like a bass robot and had to lean against the wall by the middle of the set because I was starting to go into outer space. Pretty cool considering I had only planned to roll. Oh and it was Halloween!

lol after the show was over i was running around yelling "space is the place! space is the place!" at everybody i saw, i was high for like a day and a half after that. :D

all this festival talk makes me miss delsyd and karma and SKL

Damn I need some acid in my life. I wish I had a vial or two to freeze as my sacrament and last damn near forever.
Well at least I have a bag of DOC fat enough to last a number of years.
