Lol I always had a friend named Bill but we all called him Phil. Even when we called his place his mom would answer and we'd say "Hello is Phil there" and she'd be like Bill your friends are on the phone! So I call most named BIll, Phil in honor of one of the most crazed men to grace this earth!

Ya, again, those favoured to win didn't even make finals due to crashes. In a way it's a crapshoot; everyone has to deal with the same conditions so it's fair that way. The thing is you can be the best rider, but if the guy next to you who may also be really good, screws up, you get screwed due to proximity. In that sense doing it individually by timed races is more fair, but that roller-derby mania is awesome to watch.
 
I'm telling you it does! It just sounds cooler IMO plus a guy named Phil sounds like he'd get a lot more action as Phil sounds suave and sexy whereas Bill.....sounds Bill. When we met up whenever we should make him come along too. Beaches and sunny weather a lot different then snowy mountains!
 
Well I'm sort of inland here in Florida. An hour to the Gulf or an hour to the Atlantic, give or take some minutes with traffic.
By the way, the only Phil I've ever known is a friends father who is divorced and an architect and goes to the bars every night to pick up chicks. He's quite suave, we may be on to something. And this should be all the more reason for Bill to change his name to Phil.

E is very serious. A is kinda sad. G is also happy. D is kinda happy/mysterious. Dm is very mysterious. C is neutral but optimistic.

I think I stumbled on a piece of hazy musical plagiarism. So I'm watching a documentary, and at the end a melody comes on and I'm like "I KNOW THAT SONG, well over 5 years since I heard it, but I know THAT!" So I search the documentary and find no credits for it; but I did find a youtube listing for it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib4GgucDiPk

So I hook up my external hard drive, and after 45 minutes of plowing through old stuff I finally found it. Here's an online version; http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=37629&songID=277299

I implore you to hear the similarity before the bassline kicks in for the actual song.

Anyways that's what's in my head right now; beautiful piece of uplifting trance; one of my all time faves. :) <3

E major is definitely a pretty humourless and earnest chord. E minor on the other hand, sounds like the universe.

Its second to A minor; it has to be because A minor is the sound of a million balloons being released on a mid-spring morning whilst men in tophats and straitjackets fly around on pedal-powered helicopters, casting their shadows onto a group of 3-armed poets.

So: if you guys could choose one drink (and one drink only forever) to have on-tap in your house, what would it be? Cos I think mine would have to be the holiest-of-holies, the mighty, the complete perfection that is apple juice (specifically juice of the beautiful Pink Lady variant).
