Some people say its better to drink after doing MXE (same as drinking after smoking weed). Im getting so drowsy already so maybe ill save the mxe for tomorrow, should be fun with beer+weed =)

I only really like ketamine as a combo with stimulants and psychedelics.
Weed can give me panic attacks when really high on ketamine, and liquor can give me spins.
With benzos it doesn't really affect it at all.
I prefer it the most by itself or with psychedelics.

Man that 5-MeO-MET is an elusive dreamlike creature. I doubt I'll ever come into a shop that carries it let alone use it. What were its high points again?
.

Ok you are an adult but 20mg is a lot. :) I know shulgin said to go that high, but 10mg is full on. 5-MeO-MET (smoked) was pretty much what 5-MeO-MiPT is..a lot more blue colors (5meomipt is generic with a shift to reds and orange) and a lot more mellow of a body window...it felt sexier but 5-MeO-MiPT is quite sexy stuff too.

taking MXE after even only a few beers sent me to an unexpected, weird place a couple of times when I didn't have a lot of tolerance yet, both times I was in company of other people so it was awkward.

during the first time I was hanging out after bars had closed with a friend, my little sister (20 yrs old) and a drunk crazy girl who I knew from elementary school but didn't really know her very well and we hadnt seen in 15 years of so but had met in a bar and started chatting. after taking an eyeballed dose of MXE in the bathroom I was sitting on my friend's sofa talking with her. at some point in the middle of the conversation I completely lost my grip on reality and felt like I had been tricked somehow, like the whole situation was artificial in some way, maybe even my whole life had been a joke, Truman Show kind of shit. I remember spontaneously touching the chick's breast after realising this is a hoax, but I'm not sure if that really happened. My friend told me I had just went catatonic for a while and stared at the wall, then started asking what have I done, what's going on. I returned back to normality quite fast, I think the whole situation only lasted for some minutes. A moment later the drunk crazy chick was vomiting in the bathroom and my little sister was shocked to find out I was completely out of my mind and on drugs. I told her drugs are fucking awesome as I had become quite cheerful after realising I was in fact not a character in truman show. Then got a splitting headache.

well, I think the keyword in this story may be "eyeballed", even though it wasn't much

second time was sitting at a table in a bar with friends and I realised oops I did it again, but didn't go mad this time, just stared blankly into space until my friends noticed I was on drugs again and they all went: :\ then I walked into the bathroom stall for a moment and continued my blank stare for a while, then got back and was ok

Later on I've had the habit of drinking a few beers while consuming MXE (in sub hole doses) and/or 3-MeO-PCP and found it rather nice. I'll get super drunk easily though with that combining alcohol with 3-MeO-PCP so I try to excercise caution.

I was just going off erowids high dose range really. I like to crack my head open when I get the chance :)

Re: summer homes

they are quite common around where live in michigan's thumb.... but its people from near Detroit that have summer homes up here on the coast of the lake. The people that live here in farm country year round typically don't make enough to have two homes. We do appreciate the tourists that come here in the summers, though, because it boosts our otherwise poor economy.

Super drunk and high after smoking a bowl in a sauna. Do you guys have saunas wherever you live?

Glad I saved MXE for tomorrow :)

^I've never tried a 5 methoxy tryptamine, how are they?

Ok, the parent tryptamime is the gas, or spark. You add an oxygen at the 4, you get a -ocin tryptamine and that oxygen gives it a lot of air. Or take the parent spark, add an MeO (carbon over that air) to it and it grounds it, makes it earthy (hence why 5-MeOs are so body oriented).

Does that help?

Interesting. It's kinda sad, but as the USA is famous for its ignorance of what happens outside its borders, we are that in microcosm.

Here, I made a map of my conception of the US:

No, except in fancy spas, I mean, what would be the point?

That should leave you with some delightful time dilation, though not everyone likes that particular combo.

So airy for the 4s vs earthy for the 5s? I see. Don't think I'd want anything more earthy than the 4-ho/aco-tryptamines.

Ehh the words can be changed but the concepts hold true. For me it is something having to do with the oxygen at the 4 vs the carbon at the 5. Whether its 'earthy' or not is subjective.

So whats the best state to live in the states?

And why the rednecks are in the south states?

So whats the best state to live in the states?

Obviously California. If you wish very hard that you were in Europe, go for San Francisco, Los Angeles for cool people*, San Diego for a more low key crowd. My map did not include Alaska (basically the South, but cold) and Hawaii (which is Vacation Paradise. You do not move there).

*They say we have a reputation for being vain and shallow, we think the people who say that are just jealous. Apropos to the topic.

xammy said:

The South is rural (i.e. uneducated), and full of people who think every word of the Bible is literally true. Also, there was that whole secession thing that they never got over.

I get what you're saying, holds true with what I've read. The 5-MeO-xxT's just seem really polarizing.

Stupid NBC wants me to have cable/satellite or somesuch nonsense to watch live. Bastards.

Our broadcaster plays live in the middle of the night, but it's often not the event I want to watch. Tomorrow night and Tuesday night I'm planning to stay up all night and watch the snowboard events; if it's not live on TV they have the feeds online.
You should have a webcast option available to you.

I think some people just have some primal instinct while going hard while tripping that causes strong urges to take their clothes off.... Maybe it has to do with a feeling of complete freedom or something.

:D That's Me! If I'm fully rolling, it's warm, and I'm on my own often I get in my birthday suit. Either clothed or not I always end up sprawled on the floor. If I'm at a warm bonfire around close friends I give them the courtesy and stop at my underpants. :D You hit the nail on the head; when I reach a certain state I just feel so free, and I can't explain it; taking clothes off just feels like the right thing to do.

Sounds like a good time for sure. Pretty much everyone who posts in this thread seems like genuinely good people!

No kidding eh? I wish we lived closer to each other. I only get to see BLers when crossing the continent, no one where I live is on here. If any of you are in the path of my travels I really would like to hit you up, and vice versa. :)

no, lol

i'm sure i would be better off if i did, though. i'm in dire need of some ego softening. i've been meaning to eat some acid and have a good trip for a while now, it just never seems like the time is quite right.

I get this all the time with the traditional psychs. I really do think that part of my life is behind me. The state just doesn't feel conducive or compatible with my now adult life, and the societal obligations and interactions required of me.

What need for ego softening that still lingers with me in a way I see it continuing for the long haul; is an MDMA experience when it feels right. For the last while it always seems to feel right about once a year. Maybe every second year or every six months; but certainly not frequently. It brings me back to center, brings all the things I've unconsciously been suppressing to the fore, and in the end, feels fantastic. :)
Traditional psychs take me to far out for what feels healthy for my mind. It sort of feels like because I've gone there before, repeated experiences are not needed anymore, and more strongly; feel like something I should not keep going back to because they separate me too far from the 'normal' world in which my family and friends live.
MDMA feels like the perfect psychedelic for long term use that isn't socially isolating afterwards. Every once in a while when camping with friends around a fire I'll dose 15mg of 2C-B about 45 mins before the MDMA for that little extra wildness. :)

Roger has always been an adult trapped in a younger persons body in my opinion.

Yeah, Rog is wise and level headed beyond his years. I've felt this even when he was 7 years younger!

My previous thoughts of being wise beyond my years really were only because the people I was around were wise under their years. :\
I'll seem logical and sensible, but then the pepper side comes out and I'll get all impulsive and crazy and my reputation takes a smash. It seems to be a cycle; cool, cool, smart, cool, WTF!!!???, cool, cool...

i'm watching this documentary i recorded on cnn called "blackfish" about sea world and how fucked up it is. whales aren't supposed to be held in captivity like that

Hey I saw that too. It's definitely outlived it's usefulness in educating people in the 50s who had no perspective on biodiversity and the consequences of irresponsible industry.
I knew animals kept in captivity got really lonely and depressed, but what really hurt was watching how they still catch them in the wild and violently separate them from their families. :(

had a glass, got a nice little buzz, and then stopped drinking. success. :)

Awesome dude :) Moderate drinking is so much more fun in the long haul. It's cheaper, it can be done on a night you have to get up the next day, it's just a nice way to relax if you can leave it at that.

(Patrick Chan still might take the gold though, good luck Canada).

Nope, another measly silver. ;) Seems to be the Canadian male figure skater's curse. You can win consecutive world championships, but you'll only ever get olympic silver.

Congrats on your guys' wins in the other stuff though. I don't think I've ever seen a podium filled by people all from the same country. You've got more medals that us, but we're above and in 3rd in standings because we have more silvers. Four countries with 4 gold though, Germany has less total but are way ahead with 7 gold.

We have four seasons, some people enjoy winter (I think they do winter sports or have winter hobbies or something). Spring is cool but there is slush/sleet (whats the difference? had to check from dictionary that word) so its shit but you know that summer is coming and its getting lighter and warmer every day so its ok i think. Summer is the best ofc but I don't mind autumn, temperatures are still ok for me at least, starry sky looks amazing when its so dark you cant see in front of you especially when im out of nowhere in my summer cottage. 4 seasons are pretty cool after all I think but im still pretty jealous of your warm climates :)

Another 4 seasoner :) I haven't really done much in the way of winter sports yet this year, but I very much like to have the option. One thing I think that's cool about your situation at those latitudes is aurora borealis. I've never seen it; I'm going to travel up north sometime to strike it off my bucket list. The flip side is the summer. I think it'd be really cool to just see the sun do near the horizon but never set. That'd be fun to camp and party in; just have to make sure you sleep. :8

Do people have "summer cottages" there? In Finland its super common thing and everyone who can afford it has them, they go there when they have summer holidays to relax.

Most people who have been fortunate and worked their whole lives have them. It seems to be a thing where only the grandparents own cottages. To go to the cottage means to go visit the grandparents in the summer. Here you can get a little plot with a small cottage on near a lake in the boonies for about 50k. To have one right on the water is a bit more, but not crazy. The thing is that the property is small and the structure is inexpensively built; they often have a woodstove in them, but generally they're not something you could feasibly live in all winter.

We don't have a cottage because where we live is generally where other people have cottages. Lots of people live here year round, and it's where I grew up, but the local population approximately doubles in the summer.

This rural life has a downside in the winter though; it's work to keep the driveway clear. This year especially; this is actually the most I can remember ever having. I thought we got that 3 years ago, but this is more. I was actually saying how much I loved winter in this thread a few days ago; well I'm willing to review that a bit :\ Today I spent all day clearing the driveway and a path to my uncle's house, and there's more to do tomorrow. We have oil as primary home heating when we're away to keep pipes from freezing or drywall cracking, but when we're home to save money we burn wood. Well, currently our woodpile is totally inaccessible, even with a full size 4x4 farm tractor. In the past the tractor is what was used when ATVs or a truck couldn't make it, but this year even that can't get through the drifts. We have enough wood for a couple days in the house, but tomorrow I'm going to have to go on a marathon snow clearing mission to get to the main pile.

After the 4 hours of clearing the driveway (the land of the 150 meter driveway) my uncle invited me over for a couple drinks and they must have been triples; they sure tasted like it and I'm pretty friggin buzzed :D

Here, I made a map of my conception of the US, not my academic understanding, but this is reality to me and probably most people down here:

LOL, in FL I'd put "Where the rest of America goes to die". :D

I wouldn't say that about New York though. Maybe NYC (I've never been there though). The rest of NY especially right across the border, people are really easy going and nice. If it weren't for the different license plates and mono-coloured money I wouldn't be able to tell that I left Ontario.

So whats the best state to live in the states?

As for feel as a Canadian whose been all over the east I would choose either New Hampsire or Vermont. Super nice people, amazing scenery and mountains; world class ski hills. I think Vermont has bigger hills, and New Hampshire has the best license plate slogan ever; "Live Free or Die" :D

I haven't been out west (in America anyway); I'd love Colorado or Northern California for the mountains and ski hills. I think I'm not hardcore left-wing enough for the rest of the pacific coast though. I'd feel like Michael Moore when he went to order coffee. ;)

The South is rural, and full of people who think every word of the Bible is literally true

Nothing to do with rurality. My world is quite rural, but also adequately or well educated. Even the people we call rednecks aren't bible thumpers. Come to think of it I don't think we have any notable 'bible thumping' population. The Christian/Catholic thing goes way back, but everyone takes it with a grain of salt and aren't fanatics. Of those that still go to church most only go for weddings, funerals, maybe christmas, more maybe easter.

It's cultural, not urban/rural.

I prefer the company of rightees vs the modern American 'leftist' ideals and those who practice them...which is really strange as I engage in polyamory instead of monogamy and I can certainly say I can't call myself exactly straight, but I cannot identify with the term 'bi' and there are as many men and women who turn me off as on, so I prefer sexually ambiguous. I love Christ and His teachings, but love to point out I am a Jew and find organized religion to be...not for me. Fox News aside, most of the people who cannot identify with left-leaning politics and lifestyles are still good people and usually less judgemental than they made out to be, and there is a wealth of polling data to bear that out.

I have to be the strangest person I know. Really, my only beef with the south, midwest, and north east is the weather...way more than the people. Still, the northeast people are too uptight for me...there is no getting around that generalization. East = anxious. Midwesterners are actually nice folks but the humidity is nothing short of uncivilized. For some reason, the rednecks of the South and the people who play those roles bother me way less than the uptight North East, and probably bother me way less than self-rightous leftees who know they are better than the God-fearing people, and anyone else who lives in Fly over land.

Yeah, it is the Bay area is where I wish I was at, and WA state is where I imagine I will wind up. I cannot live in the South or East and am only here in the Midwest finishing up business with family and tying together the loose ends.

Most of my friends are on the West Coast, I feel oriented West...am from Colorado originally.... but I still love to tell people I was a Republican until the last two big games...I can't stand management who picks losing players two games in a row...especially considering they had the win on the last game....and when push comes to shove, I'm still gonna vote for those guys. :! I'd rather have God fearing leaders than atheistic hell bent on destroying all that has ever worked in the world---other guys. :)

I still don't understand why everyone has a beef with Christ when there is a whole world of Islam-following people filled with hate, who hate every one of you, and are far more worthy of your snide remarks than the Christians. :)

That's my soapbox

probably bother me way less than self-rightous leftees who know they are better than the God-fearing people

Self-righteous lefties are the folks I feel most comfortable around, I must admit.

That would seem like a great idea during a manic episode, but otherwise I probably couldn't do it. In theory, I mean, I wouldn't know.

I was raised by Catholics and atheists. So I'm totally non-religious, yet have religious iconography placed prominently around the residence just 'cause it wouldn't seem right without it.

That's the one they won't let me do. And thanks for spoiling the results of the men's free skate (I actually don't mind)! I don't get it until the 8-11:30pm programming block.

a)NYC is our conception of the state of New York. The rest is just a question mark.
b)Well yeah, but that's not how we think of it. Rural also carries the connotation of horrendously boring.
