Music is good, the guitar player who is in all but one of the recordings I've posted is still here, he's not the guitar player in my band (nor were those tracks of my band, though the bass player is in the band). The band guitar player temporarily move back to Florida and is living on his parents' property rent-free and saving money. He sounds good. His plan is to come back in a couple of months and keep the band together. He also wants me and the bass player to go down there next month to play a gig opening for the Heavy Pets, but I'm nto sure if we'll do it because we won't have a chance to practice beforehand and it's a long way to go.

I like Vegas, it's a parody of itself. Though I usually end up just wandering around at night feeling lonely. Usually stay at hotels off the strip these days, went to a delightful buffet at the Red Rock, which I must say both the architecture and interior design were very nice, not at all kitschy.

Currently watching/listening to International Jazz Day at the UN on PBS, trying to get rid of the remnants of my hangover with some steel reserve, not that I would normally drink that, but I'm short on cash. I've been drinking stupid amounts of wine this week. Prolly not a good idea since they have me on bupropion now.

Seems BMPEA is getting a lot of negative media attention (perhaps rightly so, given the context is its inclusion in deceptively labeled nutritional supplements). This sorta thing has been pretty common since they banned ephedrine, right?

except he was a self described diehard republican.

What does that even mean? There's some significant differences between libertarians, establishment Republicans, and the Christian right. I guess he probably means he likes free markets and hates gun control, or some such ill-considered political orientation. I think my preference is for the now endangered moderate Republican (I think Bush Sr. is an underrated president, he jailed bankers when they fucked up the economy, and he handled the breakup of the Soviet Union admirably, which Clinton ruined, but whatever. He should never have went with the "Read my lips, no new taxes!" thing, but at the same time he shouldn't be condemned for putting the public good over his popularity/campaign promise. Oh, and his justified approved war with Iraq was ended promptly without any regime change nonsense. He was a cautious man.) over moderate Democrats, yet I prefer the hard left over the hard right. While I want the same things as Progressives in many instances, where they say "Now!" I say "Within the next few decades." For example, going straight for same-sex marriage has fueled the partisan polarization that has given us Government shutdowns and generals failures in governance, it would have been better to advocate civil unions, and then wait 10 years or so before demanding marriage. Consensus building is important, traditionalists are watching the country they believed in crumble before their eyes since the 60s, they might not be so intransigent if we were to advance by inches. Perhaps it is the result of my corporatism, but social stability is a cardinal value for me, the pursuit of reform should not be so quick as to throw significant numbers of people into anomie or produce destructive factionalism. I guess the point of this digression is that conservatism can mean gradualism, you can be a rightist without being a reactionary.

One of my idiosyncrasies is that I think in terms of centuries. I see problems that we need to tackle over the course of the 21st century, it is not particularly important that they happen within my lifetime (excepting climate change, that's fate-of-the-world level serious.).

Never thats exactly what i did.
i didnt especially feel lonely.
ive just been wandering.
i like it.

So I'm not camping anymore (my girl isn't going because she has been randomly feeling sick recently :() and I didn't want to be the third wheel. But now I'm going to see Govt Mule tomorrow night. :) And lots of music and hiking all weekend. So no loss. :)
I've never been to a mule show before, but they're going to be at a festival I'm going to next weekend. So excited, I can't wait

Dude it was such an amazing show. :) Really awesome. The opener was this kid from Greenville (where they were playing) named Marcus King, he's absolutely incredible, actually the best part of the night (he came on stage and played with them for a few songs, and it was easily the best guitar if the night every time).

I ended up tripping really hard at the show, much harder than expected. It was kinda odd because the venue was small and intimate, specifically assigned seats, other people in the building the venue was in not seeing Mule, etc. I had to hold my shit together for a bit.

Just plugged 60-80mg MDMA (remnants of baggie + what was stuck to the inside of two baggies) + 10mg 4-AcO-MET + 14mg MXE.

Should be an interesting day.

ELLA LE GUSTA LA GASOLINA

COMO LE ENCANTA LA GASOLINA
trozz
listen to gasolina
it BANGS
its old as fuck btu i heard it yesterday and havent been able to get it outta my head since

That song made my ears bleed when it was conceived.

I'd likely have a psychotic break and wake up in a straight jacket if I subject myself to it now lol

one thing my lil bro told me that proves he was way crazier than most is his experiences with 3-meo-PCP

apparently at some point he ordered some because his vendor had that and not MXE, he said he tried it once or twice and didn't really like it that much so he left the sample untouched for a long time.

he told me that after one really bad bender where he was shooting coke for like over 24 hours he was probably on xanax as well to make the comedown less bad but he randomly decided to inject the rest of his 3-meo-PCP after the coke and sleep deprivation. He said he remembered pouring it on the scale and reading 64mg but then when he mixed the shot he got the remnants from the bag as well so it was well over 64mg. His crazy ass decided to just do it all in one go after his brain has already undergone the stress of a 24 hour coke binge, like what????

after that he proceeded to leave his apartment and get on the bus to campus or something like that, and in his extremely inebriated state he started asking random ass people on the bus if they knew where to get coke and eventually some guy managed to convince my little brother to follow him to some part of the town where he then just took his phone and left him there.

Then somehow my brother managed to retain enough wits to get home without a phone and despite the fact he was in some place he'd never been to on an IV dose of 3-meo-PCP that was over 64mg after being up for well over 24 hours on stims. Like holy shit, I can't even begin to imagine that, and I think most people would end up arrested from losing control in some way or another under those circumstances. I told him the story about fast and bulbous immediately after he told me that story and he realized how insane of a decision that was given the reputation that 3-meo-PCP has.

you could definitely say he was a 'risk taker' lol

I miss him a lot.

love and light everyone <3

This Salvia D plant is showing a lot of secondary photosynthesis pigments like anthocyanins / carotenoids since I am growing it under blue-white LED for vegetative growth - so it is looking purple :D

That's intense man (SONN). <3

Nice plant Soli, I'd maybe like to try growing salvia sometime.

I feel a bit rough today, another draining (but amazing) weekend. My girl is coming over this evening and I suspect we'll just have a nice, chill time. :)

Solopsis, have you consumed fresh salvia then?

I've also always wanted to try my hand at growing a salvia cutting, I think it would be interesting to work with the plant and to be able to experiment with all the different ROA's that it would allow. I've only ever tried the extracts they sold at headshops a while back, and that shit was... otherworldly hahah.

There was a huge bush of salvia plants at a botanical garden I want to in DC. There was also a kratom tree. I ate a few fresh kratom leaves ;)

I have considered trying a fresh salvia quid, but the experiences I have had with smoked salvia were so completely terrifying that I am afraid it would just be the same with a longer duration... and I do not think my brain can handle that.
