So I found out today that my guitar player has 2 warrants out for his arrest. For some ridiculous shit that has been chasing him. I really hope he doesn't go to jail... we have a bunch of shows planned and we just got into this. I guess it would be for 30 days maximum probably. That's going to seem like a long time though. I don't want to lose the momentum. I guess I'll just send positive energy to the situation... I do feel like things should work out, we have a mission and he has to be out of jail for that.

He should definitely turn himself in, serve his time and get it over with. It would look better on his part.

I have a habit of losing my drivers license/I.D. as soon as I get it so everytime I'm in a car that gets pulled over(which is not that often thankfully) I get grilled by the cop for not having a picture ID as if I am avoiding warrants.

I think I'm taking a little bluelight hiatus. I'll be back after I pick up the shattered pieces of my once happy life. Later guys.

but maybe with the help of an attorney if he can afford a reasonably priced one

qft x1000

xorky tell him to get an attorney to negotiate his surrender (and even a cheap attorney is better than no attorney). everything will turn out better for him if he does that: he'll end up with fewer extraneous charges, he'll be out of jail sooner, his bail will be less, etc etc.

sup delsydbro, good to see you around too m8

i'm gonna try my best to make it to chicago, but summer is still so far away that i couldn't possibly make any definite plans at this point. it's an epic lineup tho for sure, the fact that hornsby is playing with them is what makes me reallllllllyyyyyy want to go tho. i'm a huge hornsby fan, and this is something i've been hoping for for a long time.

but yeah it's been too long since i've seen any good shows. i definitely want to cut loose and take in some music this summer.
I wish I could go but that is just a bit out of my price range when you include hotels for 3 days. I'm sure the shows will be amazing though. I'll probably save my money for Lockn again. Keeping my fingers crossed that some Grateful Dead related band will be there. But even with the line up they have already it's a festival not to miss.
Hornsby is awesome, he came through Ashrville recently but unfortunately I had to miss the show.
This weekend I'm going to go to a psy trance show with Xork and SS, will probably take some allad and MXE or at least one of those. :)

Yeah he has the same opinion. Thing is one of his charges he already served time for waiting in jail so he will almost surely get time served (it's really minor), and the other was for probation violation but apparently all he did was not pay his probation officer yet or something and didn't contact her for a week. And he only has 3 weeks of probation left, so I'm hoping if he can pay her it will be all good there. He wants to just do some time if it's too late and he HAS violated probation and it can't be fixed, because he'd rather do a bit of time and come out and have it all over than get an extra year of probation or whatever.

but maybe with the help of an attorney if he can afford a reasonably priced one

Problem is he can't afford shit right now, he was homeless not that long ago in Florida (which is what the charge he's on probation for came from). That's why he didn't pay the probation officer and didn't call due to being scared. I'm thinking about lending him the $200 for that if that's all that will separate jail time for probation violation or nothing for that... he could pay me back with his share of what we make at shows and stuff. I don't really know how it all works though because I've never been on probation.

Xork if its just for a probation violation for a minor crime it's likely he won't get any jail time. I violated my probation a bunch before my probation officer had enough and sent me back to court, at which point all they did was extend it. My violations were for failing drug tests a few times for herb, once I went almost 2 months with out checking in and only got a slap on the wrist. It wasn't until I got kicked out of court appointed drug classes that they officially gave me a violation.
It was actually quite a glorious day. I got out of court that day and immediately took a couple hits of acid and then drove to south Jersey to see Keller Williams open up for Bob Weir and Ratdog who were opening up for the Allman Brothers.
It was a beautiful trip set to some amazing music. Bobby played Franklins Tower with the Allmans and I got goosebumps.
Gosh I've been thinking about live music a lot lately. It's time to find a good show to go to. Govt Mule with Scofield is coming up real soon

It is? Bad ass, when?

I think he's gotten himself really worked up about it, I told him I think it will go better than he thinks. Anyway I feel like we have something we're supposed to be doing now and things will work out well for that reason. Call it faith I suppose, it's just what my intuition is telling me. He's probably dealing with it now so I guess I'll find out soon. He was all ready to go turn himself in last night and we were all like dude, definitely just wait til the morning so you can talk to your PO first.

i did three weeks on a violation

but that was because i didn't do the community service i was originally sentenced to, and the county i was in is notoriously tough on people that don't get their community service done.

I've never been jailed. Coming up on a tab of acid I ate an hour ago, this all seems real heavy. I'ma leave haha
