I do mostly web programming for a market research company, I got hired to program surveys and I still do that but my real thing there is I program modules and efficiencies and develop our capabilities further. My favorite projects are ones I thought of that make use of Java mostly (because I love Java), applications that automate the creation of several of the more complex things we do, programs that write programs. I'm the only one in the company who knows how this stuff works so the level of job security is pretty legendary. :) It's great, I work from home, and my boss is awesome, he's become a friend. He is/was a musician too so he's really supportive of the fact that my real passion is playing music, and he lets me get off early if I have a show, and he makes sure he can cover for me when things are running later than usual and I need to get to band practice.

Sounds like you got it made, good stuff. :D I'm not much into Java, for me it was always perl/php on the server side. Some of my code runs bluelight, probably shouldn't bring it up since we're on the subject of begin doxed but I smile every time I see my stuff in the wild. It's over 10 years old now and still holding up. Not my best work though...hacky code for sure but hey I was learning in those days. :D

I just had a mini-freakout because I thought I dropped my drivers license at the store I went to a little while ago. Retraced my steps on our property, in the parking lot, and finally in the store itself after I asked if anyone had turned it in. Didn't find it and was dreading having to get a new one because it's a huge pain in the ass. When I got home I found it laying in my chair. ;/
 
I once spent a half hour looking for my shoes when I was trying to head out of the house, only to find out I was already wearing them. =D
 
Im gonna post this here because it may get a quicker response. Got my new batch of 3-meo-pcp. Instead of crystal chunks, it's a tan sand. Anybody have this batch?

Tastes far bitter with a tinge of mildew.
 
Yeah I had some, it's fine, I couldn't tell the difference. For the record my only other batch was white sand, not crystal chunks.
 
I've had two opaque crystal chunky batches and now this sand looking one, just wanted to check to see if anyone else had seen before going past an allergy. By god, this stuff burns the underside of the tongue. May have to switch to oral

Man, everytime you describe your job it makes me jealous haha. I could never get to work from home, as I do research in a lab. Still a pretty awesome job :)

But man, working from home, lol. That's the dream.

Also, my laboral stability is far from legendary :!

Yeah working from home is pretty fucking sweet. I found it kind of a drag sometimes when I was still with my ex because she never wanted to go anywhere or see anybody and would get mad if I wanted to do something without her, so I would go weeks without seeing anyone but her and it bummed me out... if I worked in an office I would get to see people every day. But now I see people whenever I want so the only downside is no longer there. :)
 
Well, just ordered a loop pedal, finally! I'm super pumped. I got the TC Electronics Ditto X4 looper. I didn't want to spend a ton of money but this thing has really great reviews and my friend has used one and loved it.

That makes it approximately $2200 I've spent on music equipment in the past year. Amazing how I actually have extra money to do stuff like that now that I'm not spending it all on opiates. :)
 
My boss and I were just discussing monetary issues.. Man I could have some serious mixing hardware if I wasn't so addicted to kratom, stimulants, nicotine, alcohol, weed, dissociatives and psychedelics.. way more hardware for sure.
 
I just fixed my neighbors laptop, we're kinda close knit where I live since all of us have small family farms. His wife kept telling me that I needed to add their granddaughter on facebook, really pushing for me to get in touch with her the last two times I've been over there. I finally looked her up and it turns out she's a famous country music star! I don't listen to much country anymore so I had no idea, she's really good too. When I was a kid I used to ride her around on my ATV all of the time, looked out for her on the bus too because people would bully her. She was a little younger than me so I treated her like a kid sister.

You never know who's going to make it. Going to try to go out and catch a show when they come back to my state, they're touring out west at the moment.

Thinking about going to a paint party tonight but I'm not sure if I will, I don't really feel like staying up til the sun comes up. If my friends decide to go I'll probably tag a long, if not I'll stay in and finish marathoning some shows I've been watching.

I'm hitching a ride from a girlfriend of mine down to party with my best buddy hahah. I'm psyched, probably just gonna be a night of moderate to heavy drinking though. The thought has crossed my mind to turn it into something more (aka bring drugs), but I also don't know how I would feel doing them around some of the people that might be there. I'm feelin' kinda worn out anyhow :\
 
God these hangovers keep getting worse and worse. I felt alright this morning, but now hours after waking up, I feel much worse and very queasy 8(
 
tonight has been anything but dull. I had the most intense romantic experience in my life and it involved 3-meo-pcp. I met her for the first time and she holed for the first time.
 
It is indeed dull here. I'm still feeling queasy lol. I did go see the new rendition of Ben Hur though, I was actually pleasantly surprised! One of the better movies out right now.
