Nice, I'm probably going to trip on Sunday, it's my birthday party. Also Tuesday though, because I'm going to see Dead and Company. I might skip it on Sunday, definitely gonna trip for the Dead though. :)

Probably LSD, or just as likely on DOC. Or maybe AMT, but I took AMT recently. However, AMT is basically the perfect mix between empathogen like MDMA and psychedelic. One of the most fun drugs in existence. Still I think LSD or DOC would be better for the show. Any of the 3 options will last long enough to come up, then go to the show, then party all night back at the hotel. :)

Yeah made it to my 34th year. Or rather, I'm 34 now, starting on my 35th year. How time flies...

Aw man enjoy that! I had GA field tickets for both nights in Boulder tonight and tomorrow but had to sell due to low funds :\

Jesus Christ, the last Malazan book is intense. About halfway through. I'm really not looking forward to being done with this series... it's just gotten better and better.

I just had a line of diphenidine which has been lying in my drawer for the past year.

I would just like to say hats off to the universe for producing a chemical which exactly replicates the tastes and smells of being in a dental surgery.

Clearly bored.

Linear, cyclical, or constantly branching with every outcome for every event imaginable (parallel multiverse..)

Aha, I see.

:)

I read half of a good book on time- it blew my mind by painfully introducing concepts I only really partially get and would never be able to discuss with words- by Lee Smolin called 'Time Reborn' wherein he puts forward the argument that time is indeed absolute. I think. Its worth trying to read. I think he's written another book on time as well.

June and i'm still waiting on Medicaid to approve my high-dose chemotherapy. looks like it's going to end up overlapping with the concerts i wanted to see this summer. =/

my doctors started talking about doing this back in February. starting to get really frustrated.

I am really both sorry and also outraged by this, Pharmakos. Are you also in a state where Medicaid is in danger once The ACA is repealed?

Sounds like my husband vis-a-vis the Veterans Administration. So the VA finally acknowledged a few years ago that a certain set of lymphomas in Viet Nam vets are caused by exposure to Agent Orange and therefore treatment is to be covered by the VA but the only treatment allowed is an outdated horrible chemo (C.H.O.P.--which has only a 30% success rate) when other less catastrophic and targeted therapies are now available to the 1% that either have $2K a month to spend or some Cadillac form of private insurance that covers it. The wheels of bureaucracies turn in geologic time. But even worse, they sometimes turn backwards.:(

Have you tried writing a letter? Sometimes, against all odds, I have done that and managed to get an actual human being with a heart in the bowels of the bureaucracy that has been able to help kick something along. Be sure you note your age because in the world of cancer, youth is an advantage (as it should be).<3
